Hello, I had a terrible experience at longhorn, I had a crazy day alongside the fact that our silverware was filthy (I have pictures that I will post) . The server came out and brought us 2 separate tickets , which is the confirmation code I gave you above, the server then comes back and says only one of the tickets has been paid . I told her that I paid mine already which is the ticket number above , and my friends ticket wasn’t working, apparently the server gave us the same order ticket & I had already paid for it.. so instead of just giving my friend a new ticket , and accepting the loss because AGAIN IT WAS THE SERVERS MISTAKE not mine.. the manager Precious N Conedy decided to argue with me and cause a scene in front of several other customers, she then told me she didn’t care that the receipts got mixed up and that it wasn’t their fault that I didn’t pay attention to which one I paid. I then explained that as a manager you should just be making the situation right.. I told her that if it was that deep to get a few extra dollars then go ahead and charge me for the remaining. She proceeds to print a whole new order ticket telling me that I would have to pay the full amount (which I know is a damn lie) and that she would just void my payment that I made previously ( by the way when you void a payment it takes 7-10 business days to return to your account) so I damn sure wasn’t going to do that and double pay for a meal. She then argued with me back n forth several times before finally bringing a ticket with 14.77 … she was about to charge me more tax to pay the difference! ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE.. so then it would’ve been a total of $53…. I paid 38.28 and told her to charge me the difference to equal the 47 . She argued with me once again and lied saying she couldn’t charge me for the difference .. She completely tried to embarrass me in front of a restaurant full of others, which is COMPLETELY unacceptable AS A MANAGER.. it was her servers mistake to begin with.. THE NERVE to try to argue me down when we couldn’t even get clean silverware or plates.. I will go above this location to corporate, the owner.. I really don’t care but, I promise this will be resolved & I won’t be returning.
EDIT: the service manager Joey called me today (06/10/2025 @1:51pm) to basically tell me that he’s sorry it happened BUT, in his “14+ years of working there, he has never seen this happen to anybody”. So you’re basically indirectly invalidating everything I complained about , WOW JOEY! You called me to waste 10 minutes of my time talking about absolutely nothing.. I didn’t hear anything about what will be done to prevent the issue in the future , NOTHING! not even a sorry.. apparently I will have to take this issue further ! The nerve to say “well the next time you come see us, say hi to me” . ARE YOU INSANE!? lol...
Read moreWhatever you do, don’t order something that’s not printed on the menu like this grilled salmon Caesar salad. Did I expect the salmon to be half the size of the plate? Of course not. But, that little corner of salmon served to me was laughable. I actually chuckled to myself in disbelief several times throughout my dinner. I also ordered it with no croutons, so I was surprised to see them on my salad when Melissa brought it to me. There was so much shaved Parmesan cheese (not complaining) and croutons, that they hid the cute little piece of salmon on the salad. Melissa literally had to point it out to me as she sat it down in front of me. I asked her why was it so small and she replied that it was 8 ounces… insert awkward pause okayyy... Anyway, she took the salad back to remove the croutons and unfortunately, all of that glorious cheese. Smh - the cute little salmon was back though. In regards to the dressing, if it was house made, the recipe needs to be re-visited. Or, someone needs to be re-trained in its execution. It was very “mayonnaisey” with excessive mustard seeds, probably from adding too much Dijon mustard. I also ordered a white peach sangria. Please note, these come in a chilled, bowl-type margarita glass - the thick glasses you’d get at a Mexican restaurant. Not what I expected either, but hey it was just a sangria, right? It gave me wine cooler vibes and I didn’t enjoy it. The bread and butter was amazing as always, should’ve taken some to-go…regrets.
Never again LongHorn...
Read moreIf you want quality service even when a restaurant is busy don’t go to Longhorns in Douglasville. It took an hour to get our food and when I asked for the manager no one came to speak to me until I went back up to the hostess desk. Then the manager I spoke with listen to my concerns offered an apology and to comp my meal. However, when the check came, the price of my meal was still on the check. I then told the server that the manager advised me that I would not be charged for my meal. Because my original complaint was that my meal took so long that I no longer wanted to eat. Well another young lady came to the table who said she was the general manager and she said she was not going to comp my meal and let me take it home. She took the meal from me and she said that the other lady had left for the evening and she was the head manager. Her name is precious Coney. I have never been so disrespected and lied to as a paying customer in a restaurant! She told me that the computer said my meal only took 30 mins and that the other lady who told me she was a manager was gone home. Both lies because I looked and saw that lady standing at the bar and my son had the time we were seated as 9:20 pm and our food arrived at 10:20 pm . This general manager needs a lesson on customer service. Between the Nastiness of the restaurant and her nasty attitude towards me and my family, I will never part the doors again of Longhorns in...
