Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Douglasville

Ok... Definitely Wishing there was an option for Zero Stars. Worse experience that I ever had. Place 2 orders...and arrived 20 minutes after my first order was scheduled to be completed. Waiting in line for about 5 minutes, then an additional 5 minutes while the cashier allowed the customer to go outside to get the rest of the money needed to pay for her order. I told the cashier my name. He went to the back, stared repeatedly at about 7 order sheets and returned to inform me that he did not see my order. I insisted that my two orders should be there. He returned to the same 7 sheets, stared at them for another minute, spoke with his coworkers and again informed me that they didn't have my order. I then pulled up the app on my phone and said, here are my orders, you must have them. He again returned to the same 7 sheets, reviewed all of them, walked over to the bin and handed me my 2nd order. I replied, two orders, I should have to orders. He stated that we do have it, do you want to wait until we remake it? I replied that it was my first order which was scheduled to be completed 20 minutes before my 2nd order. I stood there as he waited on customer then interjected when he asked an additional customer entering the door if he was there for a pickup. I stated, think you need to finish with me first before helping anyone else. He again stated I can't find order. I replied, I don't really care, I ordered and already paid for it. He walked to the back for a 3rd time, then returned to ask me again what I ordered. Once more I showed him the app on my phone. He walked to the bin, examined 2 pizzas that were sitting there for at least 30 minutes and then handed them to me. I seriously do not know what the heck that was all about but Domino's definitely has...

I put in an order for pizza to be delivered. As soon as the order was put in , Michael (the associate working the night of 04/24) began preparing my order... 40 minutes go by and for some reason he’s still preparing my order... dominos calls my phone explaining to me that they only have one delivery driver so I will HAVE to come pick my order up. I was confused ... because why couldn’t the ONE delivery driver bring our food? At any rate, I was told by the associate over the phone that it will be ready in 25-30 minutes being as though THEY NEVER STARTED IT! Okay, fine. I come to the store 23 minutes later, and they CAN NOT find my order... I gave them my name, phone number, & address MULTIPLE times . It was originally supposed to be delivered so it was (my thinking) in the back with other pizzas to be delivered. The lady working at the front hands me 3 boxes of pizza and what I thought was cheesy breadsticks... I only had ordered 2 pizzas but I was thinking because of the time I waited ... and being that it was no longer deliverable , they gave me an additional box. I get to the car to check it and it is NOT my order. It had a completely different address and name on it ... I go back inside ... wait longer ... while they’re in search of my pizza... NOTHING. The lady with the dreads tells me THEY NEVER MADE IT!!!!!! :( In those 26 minutes that I waited.... they could’ve prepared my order ... and I would have been content. The people working this night shift are incompetent. I was NOT the only person having the same issue.

2 years ago: I have no idea what all the negative reviews are about , but I come here all the time. My order is always perfect. They’re great people. I’m on my way to pick up...

(Sigh) I don’t normally write poor reviews, especially these days considering the pandemic and it’s effects in peoples lives, but I felt I must in this situation to warn others of the experience I had at this Dominoes.

I ordered two pizzas right after 7pm for delivery. I tracked the order throughout the process and was initially impressed at the speed of the order being made and cooked. However, once my order hit the quality assurance step right before delivery, it stayed that way for over an hour. I couldn’t wait any longer and went to get the pizza myself. I did not call because of the numerous other reviews warning that they did not pick up the phone.

I drove to the store which took me about 15 min and my order was just sitting there on the rack with about 4-6 other pizza boxes. A lady approached after I asked an employee about my order, there were only two of them that I could see, and I was respectful and didn’t shout or insult either of them. As she approached a phone started ringing and she didn’t even seem to react to it, I told her I was here to pick up my order, gave her my details and she handed it to me without an issue. She never did pick up the phone.

IF you decide to order from this Dominoes, the only reliable way to get your pizza fresh would be to choose carryout through their app or online since they cannot seem to be bothered to do it over the phone or deliver it in a timely manner. Despite no obvious signs of a rush or back log of orders.
