TAQUERIA EL CABRITO — Restaurant in Dover

This spot has the potential but missed the mark on the food unfortunately. I ordered chips and guac - the guac was pretty mid and their chips are very thin and don't seem freshly made. I also ordered quesabirria (I loveee birria tacos) and it was terrible! DO NOT GET THE BIRRIA. It was extremely fatty and chunky and the flavor was way off. I've never had birria that tasted like that. It sucked because the presentation was great, there was a LOT of cheese and plenty of sauces but the meat was so gross. My friend didn't even finish their tacos. I ran into another friend on my way out and she even said "you shouldn't have gotten the birria" so if you are a birria lover this is NOT the place for you. All in all, it was pretty good. The burrito was very hearty though a bit lacking in flavor for my taste. The tacos were good. The service was excellent even though another customer had a problem with their order it was taken care of very quickly. Our order was perfect. Definitely want to come back.

Update 4/11/25 The burrito is still lacking a lot of flavor. This time I feel disappointed. We had ordered through GrubHub for pickup and GrubHub told us it was ready for pickup. When I got there, they had no idea about the order. So I had to wait a bit for it to be made. I now feel like I am done...

My wife, toddler, and I went there Sunday evening. It was pretty quiet and chill. We ordered a breaded chicken torta and a Guatemilla torta, and both were awesome. We also got a side of lg fries, which was a pretty nice portion and fresh. The horchata is great, not like the artificial tasting ones. The chips and salsa were also great.
