The front staff was super friendly! The exterior is beautiful and the interior exhibits are well-organized and documented. The stairs were a bit odd, sometimes hard to find, sometimes appearing from no where. A few more maps might've helped as well, but I only noticed one. However, that wasn't much of a problem, as the exhibits wove through each other so seamlessly, it was like watching time progress. I appreciate how there were some exhibits where modern art was displayed with antiques, like in the Rococo room. It threw me off at first but it actually worked really well. Naturally, there were many paintings, but I also really liked how much furniture Biggs had from different eras. I would definitely like to visit again, and I recommend to anyone in or near Dover! 11/06/21. Attended the temporary display of Freda Kahlo: Photography. To my surprise, I became disappointed with what was presented. If you are a professional photographer, seeking to find other photographic pictures of uniqueness, this artist does not demenstate this. What you will find here at the Biggs Museum is two dozen photos of Freda Kahlo face. Each photo of her face is surrounded with color but who exactly is taking these photos???
