We moved to the area 3 years ago. This was one of the first places I tried, looking for a bakery and sandwich shop. This is one of my favorite places to go. My whole family loves the food. The owners are French, and he is a trained chef. Besides all of the amazing offerings in the bakery, they added a food truck and now a second location in Lewes! The chef also does chef's table special meals (I want to say at a winery, but I'm not certain and have not attended. The menu always looks delicious, and the one person I know who attended raved about the food.) Over the last 3 hears, I would venture to say there's not much on the sandwich or bakery menu we haven't tried, and everything is amazing. Our favorites... well, we each have a different favorite sandwich. Mine depends on my mood, but probably between Le Parisienne (chicken) and the Hot Pastrami. My kids love the giant cookies and eclaires and beg for one of their cakes for their birthdays. We also get the fromage loaf (cheese bread). It is TO DIE FOR. If you are familiar with the area, and another specialty bakery in the area (which is also nice), one thing I have to say is that La Baguette's cheese bread is hands down the winner. We use it to male breakfast sandwiches or grilled cheese, BLT'S or even just mayo, tomato, and letruce sandwiches. My daughter toasts it and just eats it for a snack. 😊 Cruffins are another must-have. They have a different flavor every day. We've had more than 14 flavors - all amazing (that was the ones I could come up with in a few seconds without seeing a list). Their Macrons melt in your mouth, and their speciaty cakes are awesome. (Pictured: White Chocolate Cranberry Cruffin.)

La Baguette in Dover, DE, is a charming little bakery with a solid variety of pastries, breads, and breakfast options. They offer everything from delicate macarons and tarts to danishes and artisan breads. If you have a sweet tooth, their raspberry danish is a standout—flaky, buttery, and just the right amount of tartness. For something heartier, their breakfast sandwiches are delicious, though on the pricier side. The eggs are nice and soft, and the sausage adds great flavor, making it a satisfying choice if you’re looking to splurge. The selection of fresh-baked breads is also impressive, making it a great stop for anyone who enjoys quality baked goods. One thing to note: the parking lot is small, with only about four spots. If it's full, you may need to park on Governors Ave, but there's usually plenty of street parking available. Would definitely recommend for a cozy breakfast or a quick pastry pick-me-up!

I work literally just down the road and have been wanting to stop by and today was the day. Well, as I told the polite girl helping me…I’ll be back! I wanted one of everything, but settled on the salted caramel cruffin (croissant/muffin) OMG, melted in my mouth and the buttery croissant mixed with sweet custard flavors were magnificent! I also got an almond croissant, a cheese baguette, and a fromage roll (which is NOT pictured due to me SCARFING it down once I got home—long night at work!). That fromage roll will definitely be a regular pick up of mine…the crispy outside & the random cheese-filled inside was beyond delicious 🤤 Can’t wait to try more! Make an effort to experience this little place; so worth it!

Ok, so I don’t even know where to start! Firstly, let me start by saying that I am absolutely a BAKERY FANATIC !! Every single city I go to, I always search for a local bakery! I have always been intrigued at how different areas have different tastes, but there are just some classics that you will find at EVERY bakery! And La Baguette is no exception! They carry all of the faves !! Cookies, pies, macaroons, cakes, THE WORKS! But I think my favorite part absolutely has to be their fresh breads! First of all, in 33 years of existence and metro roaming, they have the BEST croissants I have EVER had! Mind you, I have been to dozens of bakeries in NYC, Los Angeles, and even the Philippines! And none compare to the quality, texture, and flavor of La Baguette! Secondly, their fresh breads are absolutely to DIE for! Their name says it all, BAGUETTE! If you love Panera, and thought their baguettes were great, YOUR LIFE IS GOING TO CHANGE once you try a fresh baguette from here! NOT EVEN IN THE SAME GALAXY! They have crepes, breakfast sandwiches, lunch specials, like literally EVERYTHING !! Lastly, their staff is amazing, the owners are passionate and full of love for their craft! And you can taste it in each and every bite! They love their lives and love what they do! They also recently donated hundreds of cookies to our local church event, which shows they have giving and kind hearts !! Thank you La Baguette for bringing such great pastries and great vibes to Dover !! Keep doing what you are doing and...

I was trying to get a bacon egg and cheese somewhere in Dover, I've never been here, slim pickins. The cobblestone cafe was under renovation when I walked up so in my dismay, I began walking around playing Pokemon go. I had dropped a lucky egg, and was gaining Mad XP points, when I Stumble by this place. I walk in, unsure of what they have had a bakery that I could eat for breakfast that wasn't full of sugar. Well, most of their Bakery stuff is full of sugar obviously, so I chose an almond croissant. Then I noticed they had sandwiches! Dope. I asked if there was anything with egg in it, she said right away, I can make you a bacon egg and cheese. I was like no way, she was like yes way. So she offered croissant, brioche, or a hard roll. Like four different kinds of cheese. I was stoked. So then she rang me up. A bacon egg and cheese, an almond croissant, and a coffee. $5. Not kidding you. If I'm ever back in Dover I'm going straight here and getting a dozen of whatever pastry looks good and bringing it back to my friends and family. The coffee was...
