I just visited the location tonight, March 9, around 9:42pm.
While ordering my food, I went to ask the person taking my order if they'd recommend anything to me. They started to recommend, because I said anything will do as long as it's food. At this point, my order was over $12 before the recommendations.
A female jumps on the microphone and tells me that I need to hurry up and finish my order, cutting off the gentleman from finishing recommending items to me to order. She tells me that I'm holding up the line. I look behind me, and there's no one behind me. I explain that no one is behind me. She then tells me that she doesn't care that no one is behind me, and that I needed to hurry up and asks me rudely if I'm done with my order. I asked, "Ma'am, don't you think that's rude?" She replied by telling me that I was being rude by holding up the line (a line that's empty) and that I needed to hurry up. She then told me that she was trying to switch with the person on the terminal, and that I was preventing her from doing that. She said something to the effect of, "I know that's not really your problem, but..." I asked for her name, at which point I was told that she wasn't going to give me her name. Fair enough. I'll get the receipt with my order number and store location and cashier's name.
At this point, I finished my order with everything that I had already ordered, although I would have ordered more for sure if not for her. I got my military discount, had to ask for a receipt because they didn't give me one (even though it said that it was a reprint on the receipt I received), checked my food, and then left after ensuring the store number was listed.
Order number 3543. Site number 1167.
If not for the fact that my wife wanted ice cream (after a medical procedure) to soothe her throat, I'd have cancelled the order completely. Don't worry though. I'll visit BK next time or get her something else from anywhere else. I'm sure I know who it was, because she's the only one who seemed to refuse to look at me when I pulled up to the window, and she was in the store laughing over how she spoke to me and didn't care.
If this is how you expect your employees to behave, then I'm saddened. In my personal experience, the morning shift is sweet as pie and they make you want to come back. This was unacceptable. I hope some customer relations skills are developed and that management comes from higher to do some in store observations, because it can and will affect business. I'll also be doing the Wendy's survey on...
Read moreI have reviewed this place before, and it has been amazing....until I ordered delivery yesterday. So I placed an order for delivery...an Asiago chicken combo and a Big Bacon Classic combo, and a medium frosty, pretty easy, right?? Wrong!!! The food was cold, didn't have the extra items on there that I asked for including the bacon on the burger when I tell you they are cold, they looked like they were made the day before and just sent in the bag. And don't forget the fries... they were cold, hard, and really inedible. And finally I ordered a frosty which the delivery driver had no clue about...when I took my order in, the drinks were without ice and warm. I even asked the driver where my frosty was, and he was clueless. So I called the restaurant and complained about my order. I had taken pictures so they would understand how I felt, and I will place them below. The woman Debbie that I talked to blamed it on the delivery driver but there is no way that ordering 30 minutes before he arrived could have produced such sandwiches and food....and she said for this time only she would remake my order but I would have to pick it up....that kind of defeats the purpose of delivery. Needless to say, I will be finding a new Wendy's because this one has lost my business for good. I felt like no one cared that I had spent a bunch of money in there, but no more. Word of advice...never order delivery from them....EVER!! You will never know what you are...
Read moreAbsolutely the most horrible service!! I've worked at fast food restaurants for over 20 years. It's not a difficult job!!! I waited over 10 minutes before I was even acknowledged. There were a lot of employees up front and not one employee said a word to me. They were all concerned about pick up amd drive thru orders. The management is horrible. They should of had a designated employee working the front register only. A fry person(which they had) a sandwich maker( which they had) and another employee bagging food(management) The front register employee obviously had issues working the front register. When she did take my order she put her arms and hands on top of the register and look at me and said I quote " is this for here or to go?" Not a hello, sorry for the wait, or Hi how can help you today? It was extrememly rude. As I was waiting for someone to take my order a big group of people came in. It still took that employee at least 5 minutes to take my order. I really don't know how long I would of waited if it weren't for the big group coming in the door. That manager(she was useless) that was on the floor should of told that employee to take orders. Because she obviously didn't want to. People that work with the public need to be more compassionate. I will never go back Wendy's! EVER!!! I was picking up 2 Jr cheeseburgers, 1, 4 pc nugget and 3 small fries and 3 small chocolate frosties. They were for my grandgirls or I...
