McDonald's — Restaurant in Downers Grove

Got a number 2 on the breakfast menu this morning. I’m starving mind you, I take a bite into my hash brown and immediate feel a HAIR. I picked this food up via drive through. Went back and parked so I could take this food inside to address with management. First woman I saw looked at me multiple times but did not seek to help until she finished her job assisting others which is totally fine. When she finally assisted me I believe her name is Alicia she told me she did not see anything as I am clearly pointing to the hair in my hash brown. I told her I would no longer like to speak to her and I would like to speak to a manager. When given the manager Emily she was very nice, let me know I needed to have my card to get a full refund, I did not have it on me so I went back out to my car to grab it. Mind you I had already thrown my food away, all of it! They refunded for full order. What annoyed me to the max to leave this review is Alicia was speaking to Emily about me in a horrible tone when I came back inside not sure if she noticed I was standing there listening. I told Emily my personal opinion and said not to do that out on the floor in front of customers. Very unprofessional and you could definitely ruin someone’s day. McDonalds im not expecting you to be fine dining and super proper but...

I wasn't going to give a bad review here because regardless of the horrible service, this is the closest location, and my kids don't know any better, so they love it here, but if you decide to take your kids here then make sure you take them on a dirty day that you know they need a bath so the second their done playing in that play place you take them home for a bath right away otherwise they WILL catch HAND FOOT AND MOUTH. literally every time I brought my kids here.They got horribly sick until I started giving them a bath DIRECRLY after playing here. Not to mention horrible service on SOME DAYS. typically, in the early morning, you will get OK Service. Usually, you'll only have to deal with new hires who dont know what their talking about.. But the afternoon or evening? The workers can't go out of the norm or think outside the box to create a meatless burger for my autistic son blows their mind beyond their understanding. And forget requesting a purchase like an extra toy??? You can go litteraly every single morning and purchase an extra toy when management is in. But when management is gone, nobody knows what they're doing and they think that you can only get a McDonald's toy if you purchase a happy meal when I've been purchasing additional toys all my life and I'm 36...

The only thing I really have to say that is good about this McDonald's is that is always clean, however the customer service and providing the food that you actually ordered is extremely poor. There is not one time that I have not had something wrong with my order. My last order they messed up terribly and I finally got fed up of having the wrong order. I call the McDonald's and talk to the manager,, she said she would replace my husband's meal that they messed up. She was in a hurry to get off the phone and I had to tell her that I should get her name and she should get my name so that she knew what was to be replaced. We went back the next week and they replaced my husband's meal and I ordered a burger with extra mushrooms. When I get home and went to eat my burger it only had 6 mushrooms on it. so I called and complained again and the manager gave me an attitude. my husband got so fed up he said that we will not be going to that McDonald's anymore and we will be taking a drive down to the other McDonald's which is over...
