Cold Stone Creamery — Restaurant in Downey

I NEVER bother with reviews, but today I could NOT resist!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ordered a milkshake.... As I was trying to pay (with a $20 bill from 2003) The red head girl insisted that the bill was fake. She even said the machine is saying its fake. So I pull out a $1 bill and said to try it in the machine. The machine said my $1 bill was fake. So I said "Your machine is inaccurate, give me my money and I'll leave. They didnt want to give me back my money.... They just ignored me and hid in the back room like a bunch of cowards. Had to call the police and the officer who arrived (whom was cool af btw) walked right in, and came out with my money nodding his head saying "Its real."...

Cold stone is hands down one of my favorite spots. I always get the mint with Oreos it’s my absolute favorite combination. It’s pretty expensive but tbh what I do is get the gotta have it (large) because it’s only one dollar more and is quite literally double the size than the medium. Its been twice this month that when i go they have “ran out of waffle cones”. I asked why dont they order more inventory if they know it sells out. They said it sells out early. I know they have waffle makers and it makes no sense if they do it at the store. Maybe they use this excuse so they dont clean the machines again i really dont know. Mcdonalds uses the excuse their icecream machine is broken, Cold Stone uses the “we ran out of waffle cones”. Ive been here as well as many other locations and never has this been an issue. I dont buy it. Shouldn’t a store prepare for the heavy demand?...
