Creamistry — Restaurant in Downey

I have been wanting to try Creamistry for quite some time and was excited to finally try it last night. My boyfriend and I stopped in in the evening and two young girls were working. There was no “hi, welcome!” No “we will be right with you.”. Nothing! They did not acknowledge us at all. We waited at the register, hoping they would say something. We looked around at the customers, realizing not one person had ice cream yet. After waiting for about 10 minutes, still not even being acknowledged, we decided to leave. I told the couple who just walked in behind us “Good luck, we have been waiting and had not been acknowledged at all.” As soon as we walk out and around the corner, we see that one of the employees went up to the register yo help them. PRO: Enjoyed the ice cream, I liked watching their science tecnique of ice cream making "liquid nitrogen".As well as, they had dairy free milk which was another plus. The cashier was patient being that it was my first time.

PROBLEM: In opinion, for me the order taking process was confusing.

Will I return? Yes. If in that area and to try a different approach with giving my order.

Update: 3/5/19 Came in today to try the elemint signature ice cream very good. Music is very cool. Still impressed that they have dairy free milk. As well as, learned their custom options are easier to order from. I'm going to choose to up my 🌟 and am recommending if near have a go and...

This is my favorite place to go for ice cream and milkshakes. Yes, they are pricey but it’s worth it. I’m giving it 4 stars because I went in tonight and I wasn’t too happy. I understand that some employees might be new but my portions today were off. I asked for two regular ice creams, both were prepared by different employees, one was so full I couldn’t get the lid on, and the second was half full and didn’t have the toppings I asked for. Will I be coming back? Of course. We all make mistakes, and I don’t blame them, they’re learning. Also, the older gentleman that works there is always so kind and you can tell he really cares about...
