Ok, so my experience was a bit unexpected. The service was great. They're friendly and helpful. I like the safety protocols still in place. The food....oh my goodness lol. We ordered the breakfast chilaquiles, red and the green with Carne asada, over easy eggs. Now, I don't want to be picky, but this is a review. They flavor on the food is great. The beans are good, the flavor in the chilaquiles sauce is there, but the spicy is too. Didn't expect that kind of spice. The kind that makes you not finish your food. Especially on the red ones. We were able to drown the spicy enough to make it bearable with the beans, but in all honesty it was too spicy. And we can handle heat on our food. To order with caution.

The egg was completely cooked through, which I think made it worse, cause the yolk would have help with the hot sauce.

But again, the flavor was really good....

This location has been my go to spot for a Good SPICY Torta Ahogada for years. However my partner and I were dissapointed the last time we went.The Torta Ahogada for some reason has lettuce inside now?? Didnt have enough sauce on top which u have to pay EXTRA for now otherwise u get a Torta seco. I had to PAY EXTRA for lettuce for my nachos,which came in a sandwitch bag and was also going rotten!!Also ordered the nachos with chicken, they were OK chicken didnt have enough flavor . I got a small amount of guacamole hiding in the corner of the tray.Very unfortunate considering their other location on florence ave does not exist anymore.In Conclusion I will return when the quality returns.Red salsa ok Green salsa...

Food was great. Service was great. I ordered a complicated burrito order specified for vegetarian with French fries and the cashier understood it perfectly and my food came out just as I ordered it. It did take a little while to receive my order to go(about 15 minutes), but it did reassure me that it was fresh. Everything was hot and fresh tasting. I'm definitely going back in the morning for a breakfast burrito. To mention, they also have a nice salsa bar with spicy carrots, limes, radishes etc., and a good selection of very tasty salsas. I was in town on business and wanted something similar to my hometown spot and this certainly worked! I'd recommend this place for sure. This was at the Downey location next to...
