This is the second time I ordered food from the Doylestown Panera's and did NOT get my order. Today, on a quiet afternoon, my friend and I ordered at the kiosk and waited about 20 minutes before we asked if our order was overlooked. The server referred us to the manager who blamed us for using the kiosk and for not letting her know right away that our order did not go through?? How is the customer supposed to know that their order did not go through? Obviously, Ms. Manager is not the sharpest knife in the drawer.
Upon entry, Ms. Manager was training a new hire, and we over heard her explain that the "Customer is NOT always right"!! We teased her good naturedly about her comment and she explained to us that this is what her teacher taught her.
I have worked in retail for 45 years and I NEVER spoke to a customer in the way this manager spoke to us. She was rude, belligerent, and unapologetic for her restaurant's mistake. Mistakes happen, and we would have understood, but to be bullied on top of not getting our food is...

Food: The food is consistent. You can visit any location and get the same food and drink, provided that it is in stock. The food itself is tasty and flavorful. Salads, soups, and sandwhiches are good to great. Drinks are also good. It’s very infrequent that the food will taste bad and if it does, they will replace it or make it right in another way. The ingredients are fresh and high quality.
Bottom line: This is the kind of place that you will return to if you find a favorite or two to order off of the menu. The menu changes occasionally and is varied and different from what you would get anywhere else.
Final words: It’s hard to knock a place that provides consistent food quality and friendly service. It’s not a gourmet restaurant, but it is a place you count on when you are looking for a good meal at a...
Read moreEH What’s wrong with my name? No matter how many times they try to pronounce my name why usually get it wrong. Lela Lola Lily Lydia Lea Lelah laya for heavens sake learn the name LILA. I ordered Mac and cheese and I ended up getting about a table spoon of pasta with a small amount of cheese sauce, kinda seemed like left over mac and cheese left over from a few days back. The bread rolls were very stale and now warm like some other Panera’s serve. One thing about the seating, but I think they have this set up at most Panera’s, how would you like to try to eat peacefully Infront of a window with strangers. And some booths there actually have square and open windows in the wall where other people wait for their food. How would you feel if some random person was starring at you while you were eating your dry Mac and cheese and stale bread? Well that’s what happens at the Panera on Doylestown. And please fix something...
