Finney's Pub — Restaurant in Doylestown

I wandered in here on a Saturday to grab a pint of Guinness and to get out of the sun to rest my bones on a comfortable chair which I found here. Upon entering I noticed the ash trays and that heavy smoky nicotine smell I grew accustomed to when I also smoked cigarettes in bars. It brought back memories of good times with friends. I was greeted warmly by the bar person and served promptly with a Guinness and some local Doylestown conversation. It’s Memorial Day, there wasn’t many options but I was in town and saw they were open so I decided to try it out. Ordered take out, told her I was goingto eat down the park got no utensils or napkins. The cheesesteak was soggy instantly, the burger was really good, my mothers order was wrong and they really served us frozen pizza identical to tombstone. On top of that not the friendliest. Walked in . Looked around for a place to sit. Was ignored for 5 minutes. Asked if I could get a menu ... At 10pm .. they werent serving food. For a place thats charging 25 bucks for an 8 piece wings and 35 flavors... and a late night menu after 11 you would think theyd rather keep the fryer on than lose my business forever on my first walk in. Im also new to the area and a good tipper....
