I don’t usually write reviews—this is actually my first one ever—but I had to share the amazing experience my grandmother had at Flippers Pizzeria on 8/6.
She called in her order over the phone, and from the very beginning, the staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. She even mentioned how warm and professional the phone presence was. But what really made this visit unforgettable was the care and attention given to her severe onion allergy.
As you can imagine, going to a pizza place with an onion allergy can be nerve-wracking, but she went for it and informed the staff about her allergy. What happened next truly made her smile from ear to ear—and she’s been smiling ever since.
The manager personally came out to speak with her. He explained that he was fully aware of her allergy and took every precaution necessary to prevent any onion contamination. He shared that all the ingredients for her salad were pulled fresh from the walk-in cooler, gloves were used, and everything was prepared with a clean, sterile knife and cutting board.
What meant the most was that the restaurant was clearly busy, yet the manager still took time to reassure her with a smile and a genuinely welcoming spirit. That level of care meant the world to her—and to me.
And let me not forget: the food was absolutely out of this world. Full of flavor, fresh, and delicious!
To the team at Flippers: Thank you from the bottom of my heart for treating my grandmother with such kindness and respect. And for anyone out there with food allergies—this location truly takes...

The best pizza in town.
The crust is leaps and bounds above any other in Orlando. Highly recommend the garlic bites to enjoy even more of that lovely dough. Also the Tuscan salad goes great with any pie. We have it every time because it's that good.
What makes it even more special is team members like Syretta. What sets Syretta apart is her genuine care for guests. She goes above and beyond to ensure everyone is taken care of. We truly appreciate her. Her warm personality and dedication to a great experience shines through making our visits special.
Also Josh is a really great leader as well. We appreciate him coming around and checking in on us every time we are there, ensuring our food and experience are great. It's all of those little things that add up.
The combination of great pizza and exceptional team members makes it easy to come back here over and over.
For anyone new, we recommend asking for Syretta. Also you can't go wrong with the Tuscan Salad and a Pep Sausage Pie. It's so good it's basically all we order.
Only recommendation would be - pasta! Would love to try pasta here. I heard there used to be some a while back. It would be nice to have a place for spaghetti and meatballs, alfredo, and bolognese. Some spaghetti and that tuscan salad...
Read more*Edited to add: it’s weeks later and Marcel just came to my table and apologized and comped my meal for tonight. They handled this well. Another manager also took time to speak to with me. I changed my rating to 5 stars. Food is great!
I have eaten here several times and been really happy with the food and service until tonight. Tonight I walked in to place a pickup order 15 minutes before close and the “General Manager” Marcel told me they were closed. I said, “Ok, really because google says you’re open, your unlocked door says you’re open and you’re still cooking and here.” I come here late often so I know their hours. And he says “No. We’re closed.” Clearly, he just wants to go home early.
I’m like I really want pizza so I check Uber Eats. Yep, still accepting orders. I place my order now about 10 minutes before close.
I sit down to wait and Marcel proceeds to give me a hard time. But like don’t accept the order if you don’t want to. But I’m guessing that would be tracked that he declined it and he doesn’t want that.
I still don’t have my order but we’ll see what happens. I’m really just posting this so that ownership can see what’s happening with this guy who clearly isn’t a...
