I'm writing this review to express my extreme disappointment with the customer service I received at the Sephora store regency village. I've always been a loyal Sephora shopper and i live 7 min away. Being a local i decided to walk in make up free and regular clothes, since no reason to be fancy for a quick stop shop for gifts to friends , but my recent visit was shockingly unpleasant due to the rude and dismissive behavior of an employee.
From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was an inconvenience rather than a valued customer. When I asked for help finding a specific foundation, the employee I approached seemed annoyed and gave me a curt, unhelpful answer. I then witnessed another employee speaking condescendingly to a different customer who was asking about skincare recommendations. It was truly uncomfortable to watch.
What's most frustrating is that Sephora prides itself on being a welcoming and helpful environment for beauty enthusiasts. However, my experience was the complete opposite. The employees seemed more interested in gossiping amongst themselves about us than assisting customers. This level of rudeness is unacceptable, and it has definitely made me reconsider shopping at Sephora in the future. I hope management takes these issues seriously and provides better training to their staff on how to treat customers with respect...
Read moreFor such a new store I found it shockingly dirty. I went at 10:30 in the morning so theyâd been open only 30 mins. Itâs clear theyâre not wiping down any of the testers or displays. There was makeup on the sides of every display and all the bottles were filthy. I expect a certain level of ick from testers but this was pretty bad post COVID era. It wasnât something I was willing to put on my face and Iâm not wiping down their products for them. There was debris on the floor. I had come in with only foundation on wanting to test products and stock up in several departments and almost immediately stopped and just grabbed my eyebrow pencil I was low on and left. Line was long. Iâm also disabled and for some reason I was the only person not greeted upon entry. I was asked if I wanted a bag after Iâd already been in the store for 10 mins and headed to the checkout. The person that checked me out was nice even with them being busy. They didnât state the total though which I thought was odd, just that it was emailed. Upon getting to my car I had to pull hair (which I noticed throughout the store on the floor) out of my crutch tips. Hopefully itâs just growing pains with being newer. I think Iâll stick to the store at Disney Springs even if itâs a pain to get to. I might try again in a few months and see if theyâre doing better. The location really...
Read moreI usually dont leave reviews but Iâm extremely disappointed with my experience at Sephora today. I am super local I live 5 mins away from this branch and I come here all the time, never had an issue. Today a young girl (long curly brown hair) approached me and asked me if I needed help with anything. I said no Iâm okay thank you. She said okay and as she was walking away from me she obnoxiously laughs âhahaha hahaâ as sheâs walking right past me. Mind you, there is nobody else around and nobody else she couldâve been âlaughingâ at or with. It was clearly directed towards me and our conversation. I came in to exchange items that was making me break out. Instead after this I decided to just get my money back and get out asap. I should also mention I came in without makeup on because I live so close, I am breaking out because of the product not agreeing with me, and I am a POC where as the person this interaction was with was not. Needless to say I am not comfortable coming back to this location and I prob will make the permanent switch to Ulta where I never have these problems. Sephora needs to vet their workers better, you lost a frequent customer bc of my uncomfortableness now. Iâm aware and have no problem w employees getting extra $ when they help us get items. If I choose to deny that service KINDLY I donât deserve to be laughed...
