Today, I visited a new veterinarian with my Kitty, and I was thoroughly impressed by the experience. The facility was exceptional—airy, well-lit, and immaculately designed. What stood out to me was their approach to care. The vet and the nurse exuded a remarkable level of confidence and professionalism, which instantly put me at ease. They conducted all examinations and tests in the same room, allowing me to stay by my pet's side throughout, which I found reassuring. They've thoughtfully designed their space with both windowed and windowless rooms to cater to different animal preferences for a calming environment. Additionally, they offer comprehensive dental services for pets and conveniently have human restrooms—a rarity in such settings. Their forthrightness in explaining every procedure and their judicious approach to treatment—avoiding any unnecessary interventions—was particularly commendable. It was an experience that truly eased the stress of a vet visit.
Update: I recently had a chat with a Certified Vet Tech from Petfolk, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The technician was prompt, attentive, and provided detailed answers to all my questions. They addressed my concerns about potential skin irritation from mildew and offered practical advice on maintaining the litter box.
The CVT also discussed treatment options and recommended Atopica to help manage my cat's itching. They explained the medication thoroughly and assured me that they would follow up once the prescription was processed. I appreciated the clear communication and the willingness to assist with getting the medication through Chewy.
Overall, the interaction was professional, compassionate, and very helpful. I highly recommend...
Read moreI brought my dog here because they advertise urgent care both online and at their facility. My dog had an open wound, minor but he was bleeding and trembling in pain and fear. It was not something that could be left uncovered and exposed as he was not able to walk on it.
When I arrived, the staff first asked if I had an appointment. I said no, and I asked if they accept walk-ins—the technician confirmed that they do. After I explained the situation, I was told they had no availability and could not see him. At the time, the waiting rooms were completely empty, and I could see this clearly through the glass walls. Only one other person walked in about five minutes after I arrived.
When I asked if they were truly an urgent care facility, the technician said yes—but only with an appointment and they did not accept walk-ins. She also told me that my dog’s condition was “not urgent,” and explained that only “death-related” or respiratory issues count as urgent in their eyes. This directly contradicts what they advertise. She did eventually offer a 10:30 appointment, but that was still an hour and a half away, and I was not comfortable making my dog wait while actively bleeding and in pain.
I took him to another facility where he was treated right away. What I experienced here was a lack of empathy, a lack of initiative, and a complete lack of urgency or customer service. The policy should be clear, whether advertised or communicated by an employee. If you advertise urgent care, you should deliver urgent care—not turn away an animal in...
Read moreDO NOT COME HERE. I just came 11/25 at 5:10pm for my dog, Karma’s, 5:30pm appointment. After our dog was weighed and put in the room at 5:16pm we never saw a tech or vet again. We understood we came to our appointment early but once it hit 5:45pm and we cam out to check on the eta a tech saw us and said “you can go back in the room”. No please and no explanation. It hit 5:57pm which is 3 minute before the clinic closes and NOTHING. It took my partner and I putting the dog in the car for them to see us because the door alarm alerted them. The closing crew sucks and gave no remorse. There excuse was that they were “just behind right now” and even then it took us going to the back with the techs or who knows what’s. The short hair curly tech with a nose ring didn’t care and some other dark, long haired girl just sat and were gossiping the whole time (we know cause we heard them). This is after we paid for there membership and we’re already about to drop $1300 on some dental cleaning that somehow requires a “consult” with a vet who doesn’t even want to do their job. This place looks nice but it’s a cash grab with lazy techs who just want to make a buck without putting in the work. I wish I would’ve gotten names. Super unprofessional and you and your animals deserve better. Their solution was rescheduling so we’re going to either need a MAJOR discount on our service or a refund for our membership so we never have to step foot or waste any more money in a lazy, fraudulent...
