I literally come here almost everyday after work...it's a great ending to a long day and it's always been GREAT !! However today (5/31) seemed to be very busy and drive thru was literally almost out to the street so I decided to go inside which definitely wasn't as busy but you could still tell that due to the drive thru it was still pretty chaotic. I ordered my usual, a Bahama Colada, and after about 7 min I get called up and was handed some drink and told the young man that it doesn't usually look like this . He apologizes and had another go.....10 min later I get my drink and walk out to my car and begin to drive out just to take a sip and this drink was not correct either ...it was some type of banana smoothie ... I didn't feel like going back in so I went through the drive thru which had died down just a little ....i again ordered a banana colada and when I get to the window I explained to the young gal that I was just inside and ordered a Bahama colada and told her that this drink was some type of Banana smoothie . She kind of looked baffled even though the drink she was handing me was totally different in color then the one I was handing her back ...The drink she handed me looked just like the drink I order everyday so I was happy ....however as i drove off and took a sip..... first it was very watery with chunks of ice and it tasted like straight water with a slight hint of coconut ...no pineapple juice and whipped cream on top and no sweetness at all. Unfortunately after spending 30 min to get one drink , I did not feel like going back ..... with summer just starting and the days definitely getting hotter ,I suggest some sort of organization training for these young kids cause I don't see it slowing down . Bless their hearts they definitely did try and I countes about 6 of them so they could definitely pull it off. Everyone was just all over place so I have no doubt it caused some confusion . This doesn't mean I won't go back ...I love this place and I'm sure my coworkers will not go for us cutting this place off cause it's now one of our favorite afternoon treat spots.Just a little FYI for the owner ...with summer here now this spot...
Read moreDo any of these employees have any sense of urgency or customer service? I am quite the common visitor of this location because I love snow cones. Every single experience consists of so many negatives. The one thing that’s good? The drink. Every single time I go through the drive thru it is one of the longest experiences of my day. I pull up and no matter if there’s zero or 4 cars in the drive thru it is an absolute disaster of waiting. The second I pull up i’m always asked (even when no cars are in the drive thru) that they ‘need a second’ and that ‘they’ll be right with me’. I’ve been inside and in the drive thru when it’s busy and when it’s not busy. What is taking sooooo long??? even before I order?? It’s absolutely ridiculous to wait 5minutes+ just to order, when three people are working….. anyway, it doesn’t stop there. The actual drive thru line itself takes ages to move. like Oh! employees are probably just chatting with the customer while there drinks are being made! NOPE! The employees will not even really acknowledge you! They are just extremely slow at payment and terrible at efficiently making orders within a reasonable amount of time. I get it, they are complicated drink processes but come on, every single time??? Also, most experiences in the window don’t even start with a hello or any sort of greeting. Each person always just seems soooo pestered. Like they’ve never seen a human before. Like does it hurt so bad just to say hello? or how ya doing? OR REPEAT THE ACTUAL ORDER IM LITERALLY PAYING AND WAITING AGES FOR? It just seems so odd every time. like um have you ever been trained on customer service or how to be an actual human? like what ever happened to ‘hi we are so sorry about that wait! I have the _ and that will be $’ So SO bizarre to me. What is going on with this store….. hiring slow zombies that can’t talk….. I think it’s time for some new training on taking orders fast instead of making people wait, getting drinks done fast, and customer service/ rereading peoples orders. ASAP. like honestly who is training these brainless teenagers? So...
Read moreI stopped by Bahama Bucks and left a happy customer and a better person. On my visit, they didn’t disappoint, as usual. 👍 This team has always delivered satisfaction on the highest level over the years.
The main reason for this review is to recognize one of the employees. Her name is Sophie. I have never been more impressed and inspired by an employee in any setting, EVER. I don’t think she realized it but she truly made my day. The level of energy, focus and dedication that she puts into her job speaks volumes. So impressive! It’s rare to see someone working so hard these days when they could easily slide under the radar with minimal effort, knowing they will receive the same pay. When Sophie handed me my order, she did it with a big smile and I felt valued not only as a customer, but as a person. She didn’t know I needed a pick-me-up… or maybe she really did.
Bahama Bucks, you have a very special person and stalwart individual there in Sophie. I don’t know her personally, but it’s easy to see that she’s just being herself. You can’t hide a big heart like that and a passion for life like she has. I’m just one of many who has been lucky enough to be on the receiving end of her genuine kindness and bright countenance. Because of Sophie, I try to smile more every day and find ways to be more kind to others. Who knew something that may seem small to some would have such a significant impact on me and will pay dividends for so many people in the future.
Please recognize, praise and reward Sophie for her excellence and the person she chooses to be. I’m sure she wouldn’t complain if you gave her a raise either. ☺️ She deserves it.
Thank you...
