Mattress Firm Draper — Hotel in Draper

I am not one to go on a rant or bash a company.. but this company deserves this review. I just have to express how horrible our service has been with Mattress firm. They are the most unforthcoming company, that will not work with you at all. Their policies are designed to screw you. We got a mattress with a “free adjustable base”. We were told if we wanted to exchange the mattress it would be a 10% restocking fee. They also HAVE to deliver your mattress for you for $100 to keep your mattress warranty. We got the bed and got it delivered and put a mattress protector right on it. It is the most uncomfortable bed ever. We woke up sore every day. They recommended us JUMPING on the bed to help it be less firm. The beds instructions specially says DO. NOT JUMP ON BED. To return the mattress we had to wait 3 weeks. We waited 3 weeks tried out different beds and ultimately decided we wanted to go somewhere else. When the 3 weeks came it turns out it was a 20% restocking fee, to return it and that the adjustable base is not free. Also the adjustable base IS NOT RETURNABLE. We also had to pay another $100 for them to take back our mattress, we couldn’t bring it to them to keep our warranty. The total we would have received refunded back would be around $300.. we paid $1400 for everything. We decided we might as well return it. We go look at our mattress and there is a small hole that the delivery guys created!!! We didn’t see the hole because it was on the bottom side. So Mattress Firms warranty won’t cover us even though it was THEIR delivery drivers faults. We are out over $1,000 and are so upset. This companies policies are a scam please...

I had a great experience choosing a mattress at The Mattress Firm. I spent probably half an hour trying out mattresses and finally going back and forth between my two favorites for half an hour more. They never got impatient or made me feel rushed. Anthony (Tony) who helped me continued to give me helpful information and ask me questions about my sleep, pains, past experiences, spouse's sleep, etc. to help me choose the best mattress. In the end, I chose a Beautyrest Hybrid Firm and I love it! After 3 other mattresses and 4 toppers in 1 year trying to find the right thing, it's so nice to get a good night's sleep and wake up without pain. I also bought a fantastic memory foam pillow at their recommendation that has helped with a neck injury.

I need to add that the reason I shopped here is that they have a great return/exchange policy. After choosing my first bad mattress at RC WIlley next door (too soft) and having to bring it back, I was stuck with my 2nd bad mattress (too hard). They only have a 1-time courtesy exchange. This led me to wasting hundreds of dollars on toppers and purchasing another mattress online (also too firm) which was a pain to return. (Not to mention all the bad sleep I got during this time). So knowing Mattress Firm would let me return/exchange multiple time meant I wasn't tied into a mattress that didn't work for me. Such a relief. I'll never shop for a mattress...

At first when we first came was February 23rd, and the first person we talked to was horrible and made it seem like everything we said was wrong and he was right. We decided to come back anyway for our mattress, today is February 26th, and I was relieved off the bat that it wasn't the same salesperson. I am so glad we decided to come back because if not we wouldn't have met Tony Faison. Tony took our feedback about the last employee and took care of us. Let us take our time and was very understandable about everything. He didn't bribe us and was very honest about our concerns when it came to the mattress and our budget. He hooked us up on a great deal and always had our best intention in mind. He was a very nice person and very happy. I am so glad he is the owner of this location and not the other guy. I am solely making this review so that he can help others get the help they need when it comes to a great night's sleep. I'm happy to say that I will shop here again for the customer service. He took the time to help us find what we wanted and even gave us a detailed explanation on everything he was doing on the computer. 10/10 if you are on a budget come here and ask for Tony.
