Amy's Ice Creams — Restaurant in Dripping Springs

I didn’t get the chance to try it because they closed before I got there, but I will update my review once I’ve tried it. I get that they must close at some point, but at least show an indication that you’re closed so everyone knows. There are no posted hours on the website or in any maps. When I got there, the open sign was still lit, indicating they hadn’t closed. I look forward to trying the ice cream, and I’m giving the place “new store grace” in terms of logistics. Hopefully these issues get resolved as things get figured out.

We came in with our two grandkids in the early afternoon to treat them to ice cream. Our server, Bennett, was very sweet and attentive! She had a very beautiful and inviting smile. And even though it’s just the beginning of November she was already wearing Christmas hat. She was so cute!!! Not too impressed by this location and their customer service. They were out of several toppings and when I let the guy know they were out of water, he smiled and didn’t seem to care. When you ask for toppings, they just put them over the ice cream instead of mixing into it. He seemed in a hurry to get into the back office.
