The website offered 1 size for the sliced whole country ham and offered 2-day UPS ground shipping ($39.72) for a total of $137.22. During the order process it also asked for a DELIVER BY date- which I entered as 9/1/23.At no point did the website indicate a problem with the order. My husband received an email stating that IN KENTUCY it took 3 DAYS for UPS 2-day ground- DOES THAT MAKE ANY SENSE TO OFFER SOMETHING THAT DOES NOT exist??? It is now 9/11/23 and there has still not been a country ham delivery- so where is the ham or my money??? Now we have an email apologizing saying the guy was out sick- how do you run a business where only one guy knows what is going on? Also there has been no communication on the second failure to deliver...so we called the company. Got an email that apologized and indicated the delivery would go out "soon" REALLY? We told them we hadn’t been there before and neither made us feel welcome as if they couldnt be bothered with us. I asked the difference bw city and country ham and the lady making the food acted like I was dumb. The cashier wasn’t friendly she hardly talked. They just seemed like we were inconveniencing them. Upon waiting for our food another woman came out who did not say hello or smile or anything. Food was ok. Fruit salad was soured and pasta salad tasted weird (it may be just what they put in it but tasted like old oil). I did let them know about the fruit salad she offered to remake but by that time we just wanted to go due to their rudeness. The broccoli salad and chicken salad were fantastic.
