I am writing to express my profound disappointment and frustration with my recent stay at your hotel. Words cannot adequately convey the disgust I felt upon discovering mold throughout my room. There was visible mold on the ceiling, in the sink, and even in the tub. The room also had an unpleasant odor, which I initially mistook for an excessive use of air freshener, but it quickly became apparent that it was something far worse. This experience was undoubtedly the worst I have ever had at a Wyndham hotel. To add to my dissatisfaction, the breakfast was extremely subpar. The person responsible for bringing fruits never arrived, leaving a significant part of the meal missing. The eggs were wet and unappetizing, further adding to the overall poor experience. I have always associated Wyndham with a standard of quality and comfort, but this stay has severely shaken that perception. I am genuinely appalled by the state of the room and the lack of attention to basic amenities. This experience was not only disappointing but unacceptable by any standard. I hope this feedback will be taken seriously and prompt immediate action to address these issues. No guest should ever have to endure such an uncomfortable and unhygienic experience.

Friendly and helpful staff from the night clerk to the manager. We stayed for 5 nights and had a good experience. The rooms are a bit overpriced, but apparently being in close proximity to the Ark Encounter justifies that. We got an upgrade to one of their suites for a small extra fee. The breakfast was standard hotel fare with the scrambled eggs and sausages, yogurt, cereal and coffee. We felt fortunate to be getting breakfast as many hotels aren't serving due to COVID 19. The rooms are fairly clean but a bit shabby and in great need of remodeling. The bathroom was small and basic with a cringeworthy paint and caulking job. Overall not a bad place to stay.

Don't let the negative reviews stop you from staying here. This hotel is great as a place to stay overnight while traveling. Some of the reviewers had too high of expectations. Yes the room is tiny. No there are no frills such as a swimming pool, arcade or restaurant in the hotel. However its within walking distance to dinning. The room was a bit dirty. There were cob webs on the ceiling lights and staining on the only chair. Overall it's a good place to stay while traveling. For those who are looking for an inexpensive place to stay while visiting the Ark Encounter it's fine as long as you realize it's just a place to sleep, not a place to hang out at.

Great Day, I booked the Microtel in Dry Ridge. It was a decent motel our rooms smelled moldy/old. The lady at the front desk that we encountered on Monday afternoon was polite. The other front desk people did not greet or anything else, so I knew it was a race issue. Our other issue was all three evenings of our stay we heard kids running up and down the halls. We went to breakfast on Tuesday (the older Lady in that area was the nicest I’ve seen at the motel) my grandson didn’t care for any of the breakfast, so we skipped breakfast here and ate at McDonalds across the street. Our purpose for staying here was how close it was to the Noah’s Ark Encounter and I’m glad we did because it gave us access to eateries and stores since my plan flopped. On Wednesday we walked out to get towels and I hear one of the young white housekeepers start to sing buffalo soldiers as soon as we come out now many should know the buffalo soldiers were brown. Although I’m brown and not a soldier I realize ignorance is plain old ignorance! It’s sad ! I know there are very few brown people that probably live in and visits this country town being prejudice or plain racist is NEVER A GOOD IDEA! I continued to thank the ladies for their services and the towels I received because we did not need any other assistance. I decided not to leave a tip because I like to spend my money where I’m treated fairly and equally. My tip is brown people will visit your town and you all need diversity training as it is called. Please know it’s ridiculous for anybody who spend their money in these businesses to be treated unfairly and unequally. All humans will visit this facility and all deserve politeness and great Customer...

I regret to leave this review, but my stay at the Dry Ridge Wyndham Mircrotel left a bad impression.

For those who don't know, Microtels are Micro-Hotels. The rooms are small and basic. My room was just big enough to fit a queen-sized bed with a small perimeter around the sides. My review score is not because of this information.

The first off-putting feature was the skid marks in the bottom of the toilet bowl. This was a little embarrassing, and fortunately my guest had a sense of humor about it.

The main reason for this review was my experience in the bed. Early in the morning, I woke up feeling a tickle on my back. I reached around to scratch the itch and felt my finger smear something—a bug. I stood up and went to the bathroom, where I looked at my hand. I discovered that I had smashed a bed bug that was feeding on me. It was smeared in my own blood on my thumb. I took a picture.

Grossed out, I took a shower immediately, then went downstairs to the front desk. I explained the problem and showed the picture to the attendant. She was polite, but informed me that there would be no manager on site until the following Monday (2 days away). I urged her to contact the manager by phone. She texted him. I hung out in the lobby as we waited for a response.

After some time, I asked for a status. I was offered half-off the price of my room. I was a somewhat offended that my photo of a bloody parasite was worth a discount of approximately $35. My disapproval was noticed, and the attendant offered me a...
