This review is in particular about the service at the Dublin CA location. I went there for some desserts after dinner and was there with my wife and my kid. We ordered cakes and were eating it in the cafe at the closing time. While both me and wife were finished and were asking our kid to hurry up, an employee by the name of Sam walked up to us and asked us to(and I quote) "Get Out". I have never been to a hospitality establishment where any paying customer who is quietly trying to get his kid to finish the meal being asked to go by using those very words. Needless to say I am extremely disappointed. When I asked to speak with the manager, I was told everyone had "clocked out". I asked them to provide me with contact information of their regional office or speak with a manager on his phone, I was told this was personal information- mind you- this is a business establishment and not a private residence. I have no interest in seeking anyone's personal information but was requesting contact details to bring to the attention of the management about how their employees were treating customers. At this point another employee, who would not provide her name but only wished to be identified as "M" came up and tried to salvage the situation. However, Sam again came up and said he was "frustrated" with me being there. I asked him to provide me with either their head office contact details or contact details of the franchise owner or put anyone with authority on phone. All the time he was extremely rude and would not share any company contact information.

Needless to say, this was extremely unprofessional and rude. If someone from the franchise or management is reading this, know that you can make delicious cakes and beverages, but if you have such employees who do not know how to be professional with customers, you will run your brand...

I use to go here because it was nearby my project site and came to enjoy a quick bite here. And because I was fond of the place, I decided to order my friends bday cake here. However my experience today here was anything but pleasant. The cake that I pre-ordered based on the website pictures came out looking so terribly different than what was on the website. Of course, I understand that they can't replicate it exactly but it was a completely different design. The website shows 2 macaroons and in its description, says its topped with 2 macaroons. When they showed me the cake, there was no macaroons, there was this green stuff on top and berries scattered on top of the cake, the website shows a simple white top, 2 macaroons and no more than 8 berries in a cute little pile. I don't understand why it was so difficult for management to just say something along the lines that they don't design cakes that way but for this one time they can, and that in the future, they will tell customers on future orders. (Offer a solution of some sort!) But I had to talk with who I believe was management and she was less than helpful, after some back and forth, she finally said that she could take the stuff off and add the two macaroons, but I had to get going, I spent a long time debating and it was going to take too long and I had blacked this place off my list and was not in the mood to spend more time there. I can say that I will not be back, I will not recommend this place to the admins at my work for catering orders, and I will not recommend this place to anyone I know. Such a shame too since I see all these great reviews and was hoping to...

I’ve been going to this bakery since my family moved here. But TODAY, MY DAUGHTERS 4th BIRTHDAY MADE MY EXPERIENCE THE WORST! I had placed an order on the phone the previous day. I had ordered a cake called “chocolate cloud cream cake-2” which was on their website with seasonal fruits. Once we had cut the cake there wasn’t any strawberries on the middle and of course I complained and the person told me I can pick up the other cake in 3 hours AND give the other cake back. As soon as I can in expecting my daughters cake the lady told me the cake I ordered was not suppose to have the strawberry in the middle. I showed her the picture online that I had ordered the previous day. She had the nerve to tell me, “Do you come here often?” I said of course and she said, “So you should know our cakes.” REALLY? I don’t come often to know all about your cakes! ALSO, she said, “When you order on the phone you have to say the cake exactly.” REALLY? I have to tell them what ingredients I want when they SHOULD KNOW WHAT THEY HAVE ON THEIR WEBSITE EXACTLY! Shouldn’t they know the EXACT cake from the EXACT NAME I had mention to order?! That’s all a customer should know! I have over 200 pts as their customer and I don’t even care to use them after this experience. They were NO help when there was a mistake. Nope! I am not coming back. I’ll be ordering at 85 degree from now on despite the distance.

An advice to all: when ordering cake on the phone it is better to go there in person because they don’t even know their OWN cake they advertise on...

I had posted a great review after just one visit here, but must update that review. I've had to have my cappuccino re-made twice, and that's not a huge deal as the young lady who made it did great the second time, both times. But today I got a cream filled muffin with my cappuccino and had it warmed up. It literally exploded as I stood at the counter waiting on my coffee. The cream was all over the floor and the bag the muffin was in. Their response was to give me a second bag to put the exploded muffin in? I had become a very regular customer here, even bringing friends (more business) and have always tipped well, but I'm done.

OMG!!! THIS IS THE SPOT! If I can give this place 6 stars, I would. I'm not as big of a fan as my wife when it comes to sweets. She's talked about this place in the past and wanting to try some of their bakery. We decided to stop by today passing through town, and if I allowed her, my wife would have taken 1 of everything inside the store! When we finally got home and started sampling what we bought. And I really wish we had picked up 1 of everything! Soft, warm, and just melts your heart. This place is well worth the one hour drive for. You can sit and enjoy it there or take it to go. We will be visiting again very soon.

My daughter-in-law and I had the best time on our dessert date at TOUS les JOURS in Dublin! We tried a stuffed donut, a cream-filled croissant, a variety of macarons, and a Portuguese tart—and every single thing was absolutely delicious. The pastries were fresh, not too sweet, and beautifully made. It was such a fun outing, and we had so much fun sampling everything together. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something sweet that is freshly made. It would be great day to start the day with a cup of coffee there and a pastry or as with us, a great finish for dinner by stopping off for a sweet treat.
