I recently had the pleasure of trying Chip Cookies in Walnut Creek, and I am beyond impressed! The cookies are made with simple, high-quality ingredients that really shine through in every bite. They are warm, gooey, and absolutely delicious.

The experience of bringing these cookies home to share with my family was wonderful. Each member of my family enjoyed them, and it quickly became a delightful treat for all of us. We ordered through DoorDash, which we have done a handful of times. However, this experience was much different. The cookies were HARD as a Rock (pause)…you can’t even stick them with a fork. This is insane! I called the business and I didn’t expect them to do anything, but they are completely in denial. It seems like someone took the cookies out and then put them back in to “re-warm” them. There is no way these are fresh cookies. Like I said, we have ordered cookies from them numerous times. The cookies were delicious, fresh out of the oven. Warm and fair priced. The staff was super informational. The young man working at the counter was happy to greet us and happy to give us all the information and warned us about the heat of the hot cookies which was true because I could barely put them on my lap haha but we wanted them now!!

This place is like somebody's Instagram dream come true down to the little golden trays. It's very visually pleasing and cookies to boot. I can't say that it compares to crumble cookie, but I love that there's another little cookie shop nearby. I'll have to go back and see if they...
