Came here with my family on a Sunday night around 7:30 p.m. and it looks like we opened the flood gates because when we first arrived there was one family and then suddenly the whole place was packed.
The service is excellence as the servers would always come around with water ready to fill your cup and seemed very kind when they delivered your bowl of deliciousness. The bowls that they serve your food in our huge because they definitely take into account how much food you could possibly get.
If you've never been to a spot like this, basically you grab a bowl and some tongs and pick out the different ingredients that you would like for them to cook together to make your soup. Fair warning: it feels like a buffet when you're grabbing all the different ingredients but just keep in mind that they weigh your food and charge you by the weight.
The way that I love to set myself up is by grabbing myself a piece of different things that I want to try and then of course a bunch of the ones I love such as quail eggs! Highly recommend trying the chewy "hot pot noodles"!
Another fair warning! The mild spicy is spicy hahaha so if you are a lightweight spice kind of person, I would save a mild is more like medium for lightweight...

Not coming here every again.

Read moreI stumbled this place while going to the outlets near by. I was going to go to the other hotpot place but it was all you can eat. Zhangliang Malatang offers a vibrant and customizable hot pot experience. I like how you pay by weight, I don't eat much so it was well worth it for me. The ambiance is casual yet lively, with modern decor that hints at traditional Chinese culture. You are allowed to pick between fresh ingredients, including meats, seafood, vegetables, and noodles, which are then cooked in a rich, flavorful broth tailored to your spice preference. The service is efficient and friendly, they were really nice and patiently explained everything to me. Overall, Zhangliang Malatang delivers a fun, flavorful, and high-quality meal that is perfect for both quick lunches and relaxed dinners...
