In response to your response, I haven't been in the store in 5 months. When I make my orders, I make it clear before I pay, just as I did tonight. There is no scheme to get out of paying for any product and I'm honestly offended. I have Patroned this place because I not only enjoyed the friendliness of the owners but enjoy the fact that Niche products like Pearl milk tea have made its way to Dubuque Iowa. Based on your response I am going to rethink coming here. It's unfortunate that you guys doubled down On An Inconvenient experience by accusing me of trying to scheme you guys out of 80 cents.
I've normally had a good experience at this establishment but today there was am unfamiliar woman working who took my order. I asked for no ice repeatedly and then watched her move toward the ice while I reminded her no ice please, and then mound an enormous amount of ice into my drink. I asked again for no ice and then ahe said she had to charge me an extra 80 cents. I gave her a dollar and said keep the change and then watched her scoop the ice out before putting a lid on, leavibg some ice in. Was a slightly frustrating experience. I had just come in to buy a gift card as a...
Read moreFood was good. But they need to clean. The floors were disgusting along with all the tables and chairs. This was at 1pm on a Saturday. And this wasn't the kind of dirtiness that happens in two hours. There were spills on the floor with dried droplets of black, as if theyd been there for days or weeks. Kind of disgusted with the lack of cleanliness. I would be curious what the kitchen looks like, considering the condition of the customer areas.
Since I cannot respond directly to your response, I'm not asking for excuses, I'm asking for a clean resturant. If you can't manage to keep it clean people will stop coming, it really is that simple. I was disgusted at the absolute lack of care. Clean your restuarant and keep it clean, it's easy to tell when something hasn't been...
Read moreThe drinks were fabulous, however, the menu board was quite complicated to read. It took me a really long time to order because there was just so much distracting Chinese wording. Me, personally, I don’t have a problem with Chinese lettering, I just think it should be on a separate menu. As I was figuring out what to drink the man behind the counter was staring at me. Im sure he had no intentions on making me uncomfortable, but it gave me the heebie jeebies. Overall, it wasn't the most positive experience, but the tea was spectacular. I just thought the overall vibes...
