Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Dubuque

I was extremely impressed with the service that whole crew working the supper hours of November 19th exhibited. It was really busy but this crew was up to the challenge. They were upbeat, hustling, positive, and professional! I especially want to give a shout out to Gordon. I walked in the store with my elderly mother, who must somewhat frequent the location even though she doesn’t get out of the home too much because it is hard for her to walk for too long without her legs hurting. As soon as Gordon saw her in line, he gave her a big smile and welcomed her back. My mom was beaming after this with his recognition. While this seems very simple, it is little acts like this can make a person’s day. I know that when he greeted my mom that she immediately smiled and I believe that his simple act of recognizing her helped make her day. I’ve never felt so compelled to write a review. I had my first experience with Jersey Mike’s today and walked in not knowing what to expect. The man who I’m assuming was the manager in the red shirt helped me and the customer service was impeccable. He made and environment friendly and inviting and helped me figure out what I want. Not only was he incredibly helpful and friendly but the other employees there all seemed to be as well. As far as the sub, I picked something I didn’t know I would like and that’s no fault to them. I probably won’t be getting that sub again but I’m excited to try all the other ones! It was loaded with meat and cheese! Also was super messy just a heads up!!! This sandwich shop is such a cute little place, and the food is amazing! The customer service was great! They were fast, friendly and the meats were sliced as they made the sandwiches. I didn't catch the workers names the day I went, but the gentlemen making the sandwich did a good job clarifying what we ordered and seemed to enjoy making the subs with some pizzazz haha. Also the gentlemen at the register was friendly and we exhanged fun small talk. The time it took to get in and out was super fast for how fresh it was. The reason i wanted to try this place was to see if they beat Jimmy Johns, and in my opinion their sandwiches win. The overall experience and taste of the food is a 5 stars for me! Highly...
