This is going towards the manager or and the owner of this place. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. My wife and I recently came up on 9-27-25 on a Saturday after we rode the Fennilon elevator and went in here around 3:15 and we were in there for about 25 minutes and my wife was looking around and was going to purchase several items from your store. She asked a question to a young lady behind the counter named Lindley, I saw her name tag and she wasn't smiling or saying hi to her or how can I help you or anybody else. I kept watching her behind the counter and she looked like she was in a pissy mood, never smiled and seem like she didn't want to be there. Then a young guy with light brown hair maybe 16 or 17 years old did not see a name tag on him and my wife was almost ready to purchase the items when he came over and rudely said to her, WE'RE GONNA BE CLOSING, PACK YOUR THINGS UP. I heard the whole thing. The time was 3:45. I did not see any signs on the door or windows to what time you close. After that kid said that I stormed out the door. He's lucky he did not say to me in the store cause I would've ripped into him big time like a sergeant in the Marines saying that to a soldier. No snot nose little teenager like him is gonna to speak to me or my wife like that. After several minutes I knocked on the door to speak to one of them and got no answer. I looked on Google and it said you are open 11:00 am- 6:00 pm on Saturday and you know what, I called backed later around 5:30 and see if it was still closed. NOOOOO someone answered the phone and I hung up quickly. Really I thought that little punk said they were closed. I did see a sign in one window that said, COME ON IN, WE'RE AWESOME. Are you kidding NUTS!!! Either you talk to these disrespectful teenagers on major manners to customers or I will report this to the Better Business Bureau and I'm not kidding. I will not be calling you people back since you won't do a damn thing about it and we will never come back up again. Got it. Zero Stars....
Read moreAtmosphere is absolutely spot on. It’s a very cute and small candy/ice cream shop that sits at the end of the road. The ice cream was ice cream, I haven’t really had bad ice cream so….
The service was okay, it wasn’t fantastic because they didn’t really speak to me, but I’m sure everyone will have a different experience. I would still definitely recommend.
Edit/Reply: I wouldn’t be comfortable sharing any more details as the service was adequate, they said hello, told me my total and were polite, but I wouldn’t say that they were very engaging or super friendly (didn’t ask how my day was, didn’t start conversation at all, etc.). It was the only criticism I could give the establishment. No one deserves reprimanding or consequences for my review, as it was still a very enjoyable experience and I wouldn’t suggest the service deter anyone from stopping over to try it sometime. Plus, everyone has good days and bad days, and that’s completely okay!
You have a good buissiness going on, and I wouldn’t want to create unnecessary conflict or drama amongst your staff where it isn’t needed. Also, I’m only one costumer, I’m sure it doesn’t happen enough to be a problem. Thanks for accepting the...
Read moreThis is an awesome little hole-in-the-wall place that has candy, both handmade and bulk, delicious ice cream and souvenirs and gifts. There are several tables inside you could sit at or you could sit outside on the benches. The horse and carriage rides starts and stops here and it's just feet from the elevator that goes up and down the hill... A great local attraction. There are lots of other shops in this area that you can stroll around while you nibble on your candy. I particularly like the dark chocolate...
