Tap Shack — Restaurant in Duck

We arrived at this "establishment" for a "reservation" that was not honored and was advised by staff that they were over capacity and had to wait to be let in, which was fine. We waited patiently and 2 patrons left the location and we asked an employee if it was ok to let 2 of our party in and was advised "yes go ahead". Soon afterwards one of the employees named"Tom" approached and immediately assumed we were "sneaking" our party in. "Tom" got completely unprofessional and belligerent to one of my fellow friends and we decided to take our party of 20 elsewhere that deserved our business. Loved the atmosphere loved the vibe. Great food good drinks live music. One of the head workers maybe owner or manager was very nice and helpful but can't say the same for our waitress. She was pretty rude and disinterested. She messed up our bill then blamed me for the mistake. Even if the customer is in the wrong you should still apologize for the inconvenience, but when you're the one who messed up... Let's just say off putting. Absolutely horrible service paying top dollar for mediocre food at best. They serve you expensive food in a cardboard box and give you a paper plate with plastic utensils. Payed $34 for an 8 oz steak and they completely overcooked it when I asked for medium rare. After finishing eating we had to sit around for 30-40 minutes just to pay because their WiFi crashed. Only go here if you want to drink beer and listen to music, decent atmosphere and a nice scene.
