It has a great set up. Lots of local shops, a boardwalk that leads to the various other shops along the boardwalk and my all-time favorite spot is Hawaiian Island Snowballs and Ice Cream parlor. The owner and his quick wit and often abrasive humor is a breath of fresh air since the rest of the locals are posh and way too nice. Get a scoop of icecream and a helping of brash humor! 😉

Went here for duck donuts and was not disappointed. The layout is great as duck donuts is a hopping place (for good reason as it is Delicious!) you can wait for your freshly made donuts while looking over the sound. East to walk to for the town of duck also off the boardwalk. There is also a coffee shop. In the back is the duck boardwalk which has some great views!

Nice set of small shops, donuts, candy, a restaurant. There is outside seating and a great view of the sound. Very little parking, especially when Duck Donuts is open. There is no restroom close by, you have to walk to a nearby park.

been going to these shops since I was a kid. We just tried duck donuts for the the first time last summer. Oh my goodness! The wait time in summer is CRAZY long so we no longer go in the summer. My family owns a rental in Corolla so we go down in the off season. Duck donuts is in and out in the off season so if you dont like waits and are around in the off season GO!! wait time was 5 minutes. and their donuts are crazy good and tons of flavors!! my husband liked the maple bacon. my kids and I liked the oreo one. but the flip flops were good too. I got 6 flavors. a dozen donuts. my family of 5 ate every single one in less...

Cool bunch of shops in the heart of the town of Duck diagonally across the road from Loblolly Pines and right next to the downtown Duck town office and amphitheater. Anchored in the morning by the famous Duck Donuts and in the evening by the incredible Eventide restaurant. Also has an ice cream shop, a candy store, a jewelry store and a t-shirt shop. The board walk here is the best sound board walk. Great to be out doors and see the wild life from frogs to fish, snakes, crabs, and even a few muskrats. Along the way is great shopping, food and candy stores. Duck donuts is a Big must for stopping in and watching these delicious treats being made.
