Pizzazz Pizza of Duck — Restaurant in Duck

Tried to order delivery to the Hampton Inn at 5 pm. They were out 1.5 hours for delivery so we drove to them and got our salad & 2 pizzas in 20 minutes. Clean store front but the prep area didn't look to clean. Sign up says no subs.?? They are on the menu and I was considering one. Just one person in the store making pizza and one delivery driver. Pizza was just ok. Thick soft crust (preference is thin) that was a bit soggy. $45.00 is very expensive for what we got.

Describe the food, service (or lack of) and provide details on the cost/copy of check and include pictures! Is the place clean? No disrespect to the employees but no one cares about the waiter/waitress/clerk names, or if they look like they fell face first into a tackle box. They get changed like underwear and you don't get to pick one. No we don't care about your allergies or the need for gluten free food.

I would not recommend this restaurant and would never order from there again. We ordered from there yesterday and they quoted us 20 minutes for our pizza. I got there to pick it up and it was not ready yet. After about waiting for another 20 minutes one of the employees said that our pizza was about to go in the oven. We had to get to the store so my wife called back to see if they could deliver and they told her it would be over and hour to deliver the pizza. I understand that it was a big check in day so it was very busy but they should have given us the correct wait time when we ordered. Most of the staff was nice except for this one girl who was very loud and looked like she did not want to be there and the manager. My wife called back and the manager was very rude. They need to get a new manager. He said that he had refunded the meal and then got snippy and told my wife that she had called 5 time and that the pizza was going to be ready in 5 minutes from when I was there. If you are fine with Domino's or Pizza But or Papa John's pizza, then this pizza joint will be a slice of heaven.

That said, those chain places serve inedible garbage in my opinion.

The pizza at Pizzazz Pizza Co wasn't bad exactly and I'm not sure if one could find better pizza on Hatteras.

This particular location had some issues. The seating was worse than fast food joints and very uncomfortable. The water and drinks out of the soda machine had the funky taste of moldy water lines.

But those two problems aside, my people enjoyed themselves. My hungry extended family of about 12 folks including 4 children under the age of 7 loved nearly every slice.

Get the Greek pizza and the Hamburger pizza. Even though I'm kind of a pizza snob, these pies were edible.
