Went there once when I was younger and remembered loving it. Went back today to see if it was still good. Lady who took my order asked if it was to go and before I could answer just said "yeah it's to go". Then I tried to pay but she walked away before I could pay. So 20 minutes later my burger comes out and I handle my card. She says they don't take card, which I don't mind but I didn't have cash on me and I would have known that if she would have taken my money to begin with. So I drive down the street, pull out $20 and I come back to pay. Lady takes my money and acts dismissive as she was before. And then the coup de gras of the whole thing, my burger is wrong! I got the char deluxe which the menu says is cheese bacon lettuce and tomato. My burger have pickles and mayonnaise on it which I really hate. Other items on the menu will say that they have mayo and pickle, so either they messed up and accidentally put it on my burger or their menu isn't clear as to what's on the food. At that point I just threw my burger right on the sidewalk in front of the business so everybody even know that they're selling burgers that aren't even worth the bite....

Having grown up near this place I fell in love immediately. Now that I moved away, every time I pass through I always stop for the BEST drive in food in the entire area. I’ll be bringing my little daughter’s there for the first time this spring 😎 i usually get two powerhouse platters for myself, and then one of everything else on the menu 😂🤷 Hey, you can’t visit Duluth without stopping here to eat… this place is truly a hidden gem.💎
Extremely upset and sad to hear about our A&Dubs owners 😔 I pray for the family and I understand… but I will say this,,, maybe bidenomics had something to do with the closure 🤷

I would eat here again, however I won't be going out of my way to make sure I get this food again. The burger patty was very dry and not flavorful in any meaningful way. I'm glad I didn't order a hamburger as the mayo and toppings were doing the heavy lifting. Fries are crinkle cut fries and taste like crinkle fries from anywhere else that serves them.
Lots of locals swear by this place, It just wasn't memorable to me. For Duluth area burger joints that I've eaten, its in the middle third. Better than a chain burger, but far from the...
