This place is kind of like a mix between Steak and Shake, Five Guys, and a fast food place. Food was good, service was really good, and it was also kid friendly. They have a kids menu and they give the kids balloons.
I had a chili cheese dog with some onion rings and they were both good, the chili cheese dog was above average and the onion rings were about average. My wife got a cheeseburger and fries. The burger was good but the patties were really thin and the fries were similar to Steak and Shake, thin and crispy. I'm not a big fan of the thin fries, but if that's your thing then you'd probably like them.
My kids each got a kid's hotdog meal with apple sauce and they ate everything so they must have liked it.
We also got some custard, it was pretty good but I'd rather just have some real ice cream. However I liked how they had a bunch of toppings to choose from ($0.80 for each topping though).
I think the guy who took both our food order and custard order was the manager and after we left I realized he gave us a pretty big discount on our custard order. We ordered three single cup custards with one topping and a double cup with two toppings, but for the single cups we were only charged $0.94 when they really should have been $3.49 each ($2.69 + $0.80). So that was a nice bonus.
Overall it was a good experience and there's a chance we would go back again since the kids liked it. But it seemed a little pricey for the quantity of food you get, my wife and I were both still hungry after finishing our meals. They also have Pepsi products instead of Coke products, which is almost a deal breaker for me :) I'd probably rather go to Five Guys (better burgers/fries, bigger servings, and Coke Freestyle machines) or Steak and Shake (cheaper, Coke products, and kids like...
Read moreI was very pleased to find that we have Freddy's near us since relocating to this area. However, I was very, very unhappy with the conditions once inside the location just off Sugarloaf/Peachtree Ind. While the service was Awesome, the condition/cleanliness was the worst! When going inside to "dine in", I noticed only one or two customers already seated and eating. There was food and other debris on the floor and after placing our order we tried to sit at a table only to find there were none clean. I asked for something to use to clean a table myself, but the young lady came out to clean it and continue to apologize for the mess. Ordering our food was another ISSUE. None of the menu monitors were working. I had to change orders due to was items being unavailable. Unable to get tomatoes on my sandwich and almost no onions because "the morning shift" didn't prep for the next shift. After eating our disappointing combo meal, we still decided to get our favorite frozen treat. Yet again, no strawberries for my large Strawberry Sundae. I asked why no proper ingredients for basic orders when there was a Sprouts grocery store walking distance from the restaurant. After leaving Freddy's, we drove through the plaza to see what other stores and services were in that area only to see the Manager on duty from Freddy's walking to Sprouts. Yes, I plan on going back to this Freddy's with hopes that they get it right or I will NOT go back to that location if faced with the same. Again, the Snellville's Freddy's...
Read moreI really don't enjoy leaving a bad review, but my family's experience there was so bad I feel like it's my obligation to let others know.
My family and I stopped in there to try it out while running errands today and although it was about 30 degrees outside, it might have actually been colder in there than outside! I'm never cold, but it was so cold in there my whole family and the other customers all had to wear their winter jackets.
Then it took over 20 minutes to get our food (4 burgers, 1 large fry, and an order of onion rings). We were looking forward to some hot food to warm us up, but we didn't get that unfortunately. How, in an uncrowded restaurant (4 other adults and two toddlers) could it take 20 minutes in a fast food restaurant to get food and the food be cold? Maybe they were short staffed you'd say.... However there were 4 people in the kitchen cooking, one employee at the register, and one employee doing the drive thru.
Well, at least the food was good, right? Not really. For $10 I got a burger, fries, and a drink, but the burger was no better than a gas station burger. I even got it "California style", which was supposed to have more toppings, which it did not.
At least the bathroom seemed clean since we had to go in there to get paper towels because there...
