DELICIOUS! $25 for 2 people (with the 20% off promotion for their soft opening going on until the end of July 2025), you cant beat that! They had a lot of choices that other places like this don't, such as mussels, wontons, freshly cut chili pepper, mala sauce (this technically is a hot pot place, not a mala place, so it was nice we can have mala!), wintermelon, & more im sure i missed. The spiciest option wasn't too spicy (i have a very high spice tolerance) so it was nice i could add mala & cut red peppers to my broth, which made it perfect!
Billy (i think that was his name) was very friendly too! He made sure to come check on us and even joked around with us too.
They apparently also have a lunch special they call "IMAX Express" which is a similar serving style to Panda Express. We went for dinner so that wasn't an option; just explaining that 1 picture.
Only small thing i would suggest is having sugar at the sauce bar, & always staffing the front, as we did see a family of 4 come in & leave because no one helped them (they were only there for like 15 seconds). Edit: my wife told me she thinks they left because of the atmosphere, as there was a lack of decorations & it was not very welcoming. She said she would have left too but i really wanted to try the food lol
We will be back! I heard they might try to add dry stir fry, & im looking...

I stumbled upon this place just a few doors down from Sorimarx, and honestly... it blew me away. I came in around 7:30ish PM and was surprised to see it wasn’t too busy. At first, I was a little hesitant — was it new? Was it just not good? But wow, was I wrong.
The setup is familiar if you've been to Sorimarx: you build your bowl with all your favorite ingredients, they weigh it, you pick your soup base, and then they cook everything together for you. Simple, fast, and delicious. But here’s the kicker — this place does it way better.
✔️ More affordable ✔️ Better ingredient selection ✔️ Bonus side dishes if you're not in the mood for hot pot
The only minor downside? The sauce selection could be a little more varied — but to be honest, you don’t even need it. The broths are that flavorful, and the ingredients speak for themselves.
Service? Top-notch. The staff was super friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better.
This spot has quickly become my go-to for hot pot. If you're a fan of places like Sorimarx, do yourself a favor and check this one out. It's a total hidden gem — and more people need to know about it.
Highly recommend. Don’t sleep on this place. 👏🍲
P.s. my food was that good that I'm almost done (tomato base,...
Read moreThis is an amazing restaurant to eat at. It's clean, nicely decorated, just fun to be around. It was our first time, and the cashier was very nice, friendly, and helpful. I bought a spicy beef broth bowl that I made using the ingredients around the counter. They had a huge variety of choices for food, which was amazing. The spice was perfect and flavorful. Very good quality and amazing. I'd recommend to anyone curious at all. Hardly anyone else was eating there, so we pretty much had the whole place to ourselves. We were originally gonna eat at the restaurant next door, that has good lobster dishes, but they had increased their prices a lot since we last visited, so we came here instead. Not disappointed at all whatsoever. It was amazing. For the build your own hot pots, they price it based on pounds. About $11 each pound. I happened to grab exactly one pound! Which was nice. Probably one of the best restaurants I've ever been to (and I've...
