We visited Kang’s Table Saturday evening for dinner with friends, based on a recommendation. While the atmosphere was lovely - clean, well-spaced seating, and nice decor - the rest of the experience fell far short.
The menu was extensive, offering a wide variety of dishes. However, the prices were slightly steeper than other Korean restaurants for similar fare. This, combined with the sheer number of options, raised a red flag for us - often, a focus on quantity can come at the expense of quality.
Unfortunately, this concern proved to be true. The food itself was mediocre at best. My dish was bland and tasted suspiciously like something pre-made from the store. My wife's dish was just okay, nothing special.
The biggest disappointment, however, was the horrible service. Our group, which included several toddlers, waited a full hour for our food to arrive after placing our order. This is simply unacceptable, especially considering the young children in our party. By the time the food arrived, our youngest child, who has many food allergies, was tired and having a tantrum. His meal, which should have come first due to the allergy, arrived last. (wait staff was informed of allergies) To make matters worse, despite having call buttons at each table, we pressed ours several times during the long wait and were completely ignored by all of the wait staff.
At the end of the evening, we paid our bill (without tipping, unfortunately) and left feeling frustrated and disappointed. A restaurant can't afford to neglect two out of the three key elements - service, food, and cleanliness. Kang’s Table failed on two counts.
The situation became so dire that two members of our group actually abandoned ship and drove down the road for a Chick-fil-A fix.

The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the tofu soup, featuring a unique combination of seafood and beef. Yes, they offer this delightful combo, and it does not disappoint! The soup was bursting with rich, delicious flavors, and the addition of short ribs elevated the dish to another level. Though I found the prices to be a bit higher than expected and the portions of short ribs somewhat limited, the quality and taste more than made up for it. I’m already looking forward to my next visit, hoping for a more generous serving of those delectable short ribs.
Overall, Kang’s Kitchen Table stands out with its impeccable service, cozy ambiance, and mouthwatering dishes. It’s definitely a place I’ll be returning to...
Read moreI havent even dined here and had a very negative experience… Id say avoid here if youre looking for good service or just a restaurant with decent common etiquette. I decided to have a late lunch here with my family after my courthouse wedding and asked my mom to make a reservation. She went in and told them a party of 12-13 at 4-4:30. They gave her the hardest time about what exact time we will be there and the exact number of people. We told them we wouldnt run over to 5pm and we would call you an hour advance from our wedding photoshoot area. They still pestered my mom saying if they accept our 430, they cant accept a “possible” 3pm appointment. I mean…. Is making a reservation ahead of time this difficult??? Obviously she left. The owner? Came outside to give her even a more difficult time by knocking on her car window. Absolutely rude, out of line, unprofessional, and obnoxious. Clearly, you made enough money… Let me please save you from an experience with people who dont know how to run...
