I stayed at the Marriott right next to this restaurant for 4 days and came here every night for dinner (around 430 to 5 pm) to tour the menu. Here is what happened... The first night I sat at the bar and Hunter was my bartender. Absolutely amazing. He gave me a local beer sample and then recommended multiple favorites from the menu. I went with the Royale burger, medium, with brie cheese instead of american and added bacon. I also had the fries. Absolutely amazing flavors đ The second night I sat at the bar and was served by Glenn. He was awesome as well. I ate the tacos and Caesar salad. Delicious as well but ask foe no eggs on the Caesar (weird combo) and get some salsa foe your tacos. You won't regret it at all. The third night I sat at the bar and once again Glenn was great and so was Anna. They took excellent care of me and I got to see Hunter who remembered me from Monday. We chatted even though he wasn't bartending that night and he was still just as awesome as i remembered. I got the other local beer that I can't remember now but it was soooo good. I got the French dip and Mac and cheese. Probably my favorite dish. The last night I walked in and before i even sat down at the bar, hunter had alrewdy poured the beer I loved from the day prior, even though he didnt serve me that day. He was so attentive to what i liked and that made it even more amazing that he remembered. Each day he saw me he called me by name and I feel like I found a true kindred spirit. I ran into the couple I met Monday and we all were having a blast. Got the happy hour nacho plate (definitely worth it) and the shrimp appetizer. I wasn't a fan of the cilantro on there as to me it was overloading my taste buds so I would recommend asking for it on the side to be able to decide your own pallette choice but it was still delicious. Hunter went above and beyond because I had left my itemized receipt (which I needed for my expense report) and so I called the bar because I didn't feel like driving back over and he sent a copy to me via text. Overall this is one of the best restaurants I've ever been to in my life. The atmosphere is awesome, the food is amazingly delicious, the people are awesome, and the bartenders are amazing. I really want to thank Hunter the most because he was an absolute delight! Thank you all for such a wonderful...
Read moreWednesday Hump Day on 1/25/23 required a midweek out with friends, drinks and good food. We got just that along with great service from our waitress Taylor, shout out to Tay! It was a packed house this particular night and for first timers we were ready!
My friend and I both ventured out and tried new things which didnât disappoint! Letâs start off with J.T.âs Kettle Chips. These remind me of an upscale loaded potato skins. They will have you coming back for more! Itâs like once you pop the taste donât stop they are just that good!! We both got an alcoholic beverage to jump the night off. I ordered The Heist which has two liquors so it put me in the mind frame of a Long Island but more complexed. Since it had Jalapeño tequila in it I ordered an extra Tequila shot (Don Julio Blanco) to kick it up an extra notch!!
My friend had the Victory Golden Monkey Belgian Tripel PA which was 9.5% so after two she was good and tipsy. She is hoping to find it in stores for her personal collection for her bar! Now on to the entrees. She ordered the Shrimp & Crab âNachoâ plate which is set up like a flatbread but eats like a nacho with all the toppings baked perfectly on the âchip.â Iâm not a seafood person, but that thang was DELICIOUS! I opted for the Chicken Panini. If you read the description you will see why. It was very tasty, but if I had to change anything, it would be to replace the basil aioli for something else; maybe for something a little spicy or something that involves garlic.
I gave it 5 stars because it was a good time, had great service, food was awesome, drinks were on point and it wasnât hard on the pockets. We will definitely be back! Thank you Marlowâs Tavern for making our first experience...
Read moreArrived at 5:13pm they werenât super busy. They sat us right away we ordered an appetizer and our entrees at the Same time at 5:20. Nachos came out quick but the person who I assume was the manager because she didnât speak to us, gave us the nachos and said Iâll be back out with platesâŠâŠnever returned! Still no biggie we ate them and enjoyed. Hereâs where things take a turn itâs 6:05 pm and our food isnât done. My daughter and I piled up empty cups and a beer can at the end of the table because at this point itâs been 45 mins n weâve seen our waiter once! No drink refill didnât come to see if I needed another beer just AVOIDED us! So now itâs 6:25pm and I get up and go to the waitress and POLITELY tell her mam itâs been an hour and we have to go so ring me up for our drinks and appetizer. I leave her my card so this isnât dragged out any longer. She then returns my card after charging me $98.00 for my entire meal that I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED! I asked her how does 3 drinks and nachos cost $98 bucks?? She says âoh I told them rush your food into to go boxesâ. I was lost for words at this point! I told her absolutely was not going to continue to wait. I literally just told her we have to go! I asked for a manager and she said â I will just refund your money and charge you correctlyâ this was an absolutely terrible experience! I wasnât looking to get my drinks for free but I definitely wanted a manager to know about...
