Firehouse Subs Arena At Gwinnett — Restaurant in Georgia

I never leave reviews like this, but the lack of basic customer service and the disrespect we encountered when we visited was disappointing enough that I felt compelled to share.

My mother and I walked into the store starving and saw two employees behind the counter—one female to the left and one male to the right. We stood near the middle, clearly visible to both of them, yet neither acknowledged us. No "Hi," no "Welcome," no "Be right with you"—absolutely nothing. We quickly discuss our order among ourselves and waited to be helped... still no acknowledgement from either employee.

Eventually, my mom asked, “Where can we place our order?” The female employee, again with no hi or hello, vaguely motioned to the right, where the male employee was standing. He didn’t say anything either.

So, I asked, “By the register?” and instead of responding kindly or clearly, Audrey walked over with a condescending tone, shook her head, and sarcastically said, “Yeah, by the register…” before walking away. I felt so belittled by simply asking a question.

At this point, we were completely turned off by the attitude and lack of even the most basic courtesy. We decided to leave. I asked for her name before we walked out, and she said “Audrey” with an attitude—still no apology, no attempt to resolve or acknowledge the issue, nothing.

It’s disappointing to walk into an establishment and feel like a bother rather than a customer. A simple greeting or direction would have gone a long way, but instead, we left feeling disrespected, unwelcome and hungry. The sandwiches were phenomenal. This 2 star rating has more to do with the manager , he was super rude. Every time I asked an employee a question. He responded, fast, as if he was rushing the answer. As if them answering would keep us in front of them longer then we needed to be. I was under the assumption employees can talk for themselves? We were all wearing masks. I didn’t see the issue and why everything seemed so rushed, also considering we were the only ones in the building. My wife asked if they can cut a small sandwich in half, in which the employee answered yes but he rudely cut Her off saying all the sandwiches are cut. My wife responded even the small? He said it’ll be 2” if it’s cut. She said I know. They still didn’t cut the sandwich. Also, I got the Mac and cheese , a complete waste of money. It was equivalent to macaroni & cheese soup and has little to no flavor. It looks like kraft boxed Mac & cheese.

As a business owner coming from out of town, this experience was unpleasant. I thought I’d be able to relax & eat without feeling tension while at an establishment , instead it felt like it was more “hurry up and buy” I can only be happy the sandwiches were good. Deeming a 2...

DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION! The only reason they even have 1 star from me is because the subs were at least edible and the app won't let me go lower... The 4 subs were placed sideways in a bag, so all of the juices went everywhere. The pic below shows how poorly they were cut. All 4 subs we bought had ALL of the meat in the center, so we had to redistribute it as we were eating. The pickles were literally thrown on top of the subs without being wrapped in plastic, so the juices ran all over the sandwich. I didn't even want pickles, so idk why they even wasted their time to ruin all 4 of our sandwiches with them. The sandwiches were not labeled, which I have never experienced with Firehouse subs before. Idk what is wrong with this location, but I will never give my hard earned money to this locations owner again. These subs are a treat for us in these trying times and to receive these the way we did was literally making a terrible day at work just that much worse when I can't get home to an acceptable dinner that I paid for :/...
