I used to love coming here for a fast meal, but lately, things have really gone down hill. Today was definitely my last visit.
The food came out waaaay too quickly, just mere minutes after sitting down, and considering it was slow, I can imagine they must have been sitting around for a while in a hot box and it was just slopped together to further show their lack of effort. All of the employees were just kind of standing around, witnessed one just slamming the ice scoop repeatedly into the ice machine while staring off, for example. The only people I saw doing anything, were a couple of elementary or middle school kids who weren't actually employed there as they were in street clothes. They must have been family to someone working and they had them sweeping and wiping tables on occasion but very half-heartedly. Did some quick work before returning to the table they camped out at with a free Frosty. The girl was also going back behind the counter without her long hair up.
The restaurant itself was dirty. It was hard to find a clean table, and most of the tables had garbage underneath them despite their child helpers going around. Not just a rogue fry like you'd expect on occasion, but fry containers, TONS of fries, bacon pieces, and napkins. The table I chose had 3 fry boxes underneath it and I tried to pick the cleanest spot .Totally not acceptable when we were only 1 of the 2 tables in there and it was not busy at all.
And to top it all of, the bathroom was disgusting. It had a pile of garbage over the drain, the seat on one toilet had something questionable on it, another had it underneath the bowl. Plus the garbage was due...
Read moreDespite the lack of toilet paper, paper towel, and soap in both men’s and women’s restrooms, you can excuse the bathrooms in absolute disarray— it’s a popular stop with a high number of people coming through frequently. What you can’t excuse is the horrendous staff. Upon walking to the counter and receiving the greeting of a flat, “What,” you immediately get the impression that you’re not wanted here. “Hello, how are you today?” I cheerfully ask the grumpy cashier, whose reply is an almost angry, “Fine.” Not discouraged by this sour clerk, I chirp, “That’s great! Me, too! Thanks for asking!” How amusing that her response was, “I didn’t ask—“ before catching herself, “What do you want?” After each item I add to my order, the cashier proceeded to tell me the total and tried to push me along before completing the order. An irritated huff and eye roll accompanied each item added as well. How welcoming. When receiving the food, the order was wrong (missing add-ons and not removing toppings) but it was decided that just eating it was easier than interacting with this unpleasant human again. It’s such a shame because the food is delicious and tasted fresh. We will not be returning to this Wendy’s location again; it was made clear by the staff that it’s too much of a chore to serve customers and they don’t want...
Read moreHorrible horrible service! 5cars including myself were in the drivethru, sign was on I could see an African American woman walking around/ maybe working but was behind the counter this was after I waited 15 minutes at the sign! I thought maybe it was broken. I tapped on window, and of course she ignored me. The lady behind me continued to wait along with all the other cars. Finally everyone left and as I looped around to leave as well, totally fed up, a younger boy comes out of the back with a trash bag. I rolled down my window to simply ask what was going on since I knew I still had 40 minutes until they closed, before I got one word out the Boy yells at me “we’re f**king closed! I couldn’t believe it. So I waited there for that long to be treated like that by some young boy! Not only did you lose me as a customer but after talking with the people in line behind me I doubt they will be coming back as well. All I was wondering was if I could get food. Luckily Burger King was still open. But I will not be coming back unless it’s free or a different location! Straight up rude and lazy at...
