Judy's Cafe #2 — Restaurant in Duncanville

Ordered two eggs sunny side up without any issues. Only problem was my eggs coming back over easy and when I said something the cook said they dont do Sunnyside and over easy is what I'm getting. I'd rather go hungry or find another place to eat than be told by a DINER that they don't do Sunnyside up! Your response to my review is completely wrong in your characterization of my response to being served eggs I didn't asked for. I simply stated I wanted Sunnyside up eggs and the server tried to take care of it. Just because I refused to eat eggs I did not order doesn't make me rude. I also didn't leave like you're trying to make it sound, I sat quietly with my group while they ate and were charged 9 bucks for a small orange juice a cup of milk and a coffee. As the owner you should get your facts straight before accusing people of actions they didn't commit just to save face on...

The food was delicious (except the French toast, which didn't seem to be fully done), the pancakes are HUGE (as big as your head), but the service left quite a lot to be desired. The tables were either full or dirty when we walked in and we had to wait for someone to clean a table off (which sucks for my mom, who is disabled and can't stay standing for very long). It took awhile for the waitress to come and get our drink order and then to come back and get our food order. The food did come out promptly, however. The most disgusting thing was the little Tupperware container that they set on the table with sweet n low and half and half containers had empty packets in it and there was liquid in the bottom. I was looking for a new breakfast place for me and the kids and after reading the reviews, this one seemed promising. We went on a Saturday morning. It was busy but there wasn't a wait. You seat yourself wherever you'd like. Once seated, our server came promptly to give us menus and take our drink orders. I ordered one of the breakfast platters with eggs, bacon, county potatoes and biscuits w/gravy and my daughter ordered the French toast. My food tasted ok, but my son ordered the pancakes and said they were stiff almost like it was overcooked or something.

The service was good and the tables were clean. The atmosphere has a very cozy hometown feel to it. Not sure if we'd go back based...
