4/6/24: Well, no better on delivery than the previous owners. Said would be at my house "in 30 to 45 minutes or less." Got our order in an hour and 35 minutes. Food was warm. Driver couldn't find my street because "she needed to update her phone." At least she had the courtesy to call and ask where my house was. I'm done with this place. 8/26/23: Called 1136 am to place an order for pizza delivery $42 . Told to call back at noon when the driver would be there. Called & went to voice mail. Kept calling til someone answered the phone. Gave them our order which included a salad. Told them NO ham and 1000 island dressing (both of which were printed on the ticket) . GOT ham and Ranch dressing. Said my order would be here in 45 mins. Called when 1 hr 15 mins had passed. Said it was out for delivery now. Told the dude when they say it's going to be here in 45 mins, it should be here in 45 mins. He replied they had a bunch of deliveries. (Not my problem) So I asked if they would have taken my order when I 1st called at 1136, do you think I'd have my order on time? He didn't know. Sounds like stupid to me; take to go orders earlier than noon and have them ready just a bit before so the driver can leave immediately. Oh geeze, why be logical? Anyway, got my order 15 mins later...total 1 hr 30 mins.. Told the delivery person they were denied a 20% tip for not getting it here on time. I won't be ordering pizza from here for a long time; refuse to order from Domino's or Pizza Hut. So it looks like Mr. Jim's will be getting my business when we want delivery. Read moreWhen I tell you I usually order wings, pizza or even there salad from here and they usually give me my order on time or I wait a couple minutes… especially for myself doing an online order. This day was the worse day I ever ordered from this location. I ordered my food at 7:09PM and estimated time for my order was 7:27 PM. I got there a little early like 7:15PM or 7:20PM. They told me it will be an extra couple minutes. However I didn’t know it was gonna take an extra 45 minutes for my food. By the way I only order cheese sticks and 10 count of wings. Which it shouldn’t be that hard right. However, since there dinning room was busy… I think there were really focused on those orders instead of online or even customers that called in to make an order. I watch associates arguing about why there so back up. I saw an associate lost and everyone pushing him out the way and all he was doing is his job. I had no one even ask what’s my order or acknowledge me while I was watching them arguing, trying to finish orders and what really got me over is continuously watch my wings continue to go through the convention oven while my cheese sticks was just sitting on the third shelf becoming cold. Read moreI wish I could make this zero stars. I ordered two pizzas and an order of pepperoni twists for delivery. They delivered the pizzas but the twists were missing. I told the driver and she said she would go back and get them. Ok fine, I thought it's an honest mistake. I wait...10 minutes, then 20, then 30 minutes have passed and still no twists. I try calling the store. I am put on hold and wait 5 minutes. I hang up and I'm put on hold again. I call one more time, the phone rings and the call disconnects. Now what? I guess I'm going to have to go to the store. So much for that delivery charge and tip I've already paid. At the store counter I speak to the manager. He says his name is Chelsey. I tell Chelsey that I want a refund for the item that was not delivered. He says it is on it way there now. I say that I had to physically come down to the store and that is not delivery, I want my money back. He says I can't give you a refund because I don't have access to the safe. So I'm out around $10 for an item I never received and the tip I paid for service I did not get. Papa John's is right next door and if their website was not down I would have ordered from them. This is the kind of treatment you can expect from the Pizza Inn in Duncanville....
