I wanted to give 5 stars but I just simply couldn’t. The manager named “Adriana” I believe by her name tag is absolutely the rudest person I have ever come across in a restaurant. Every time I come in there she is aggressive and she looks as if she hates her job, if you hate your job... just quit. However I was met by a very pleasant and sweet young lady at the register this time when I came. I don’t remember her name because I couldn’t see her name tag fully but she’s African American and she has big dimples and a pretty smile. My son is autistic so he has trouble not only with his speech but it’s hard for me to help him around because he gets rowdy and he also has some muscle development issues so it’s hard for he to walk at times. I try to give my son as much freedom as I possibly can because I never want him to feel like he’s not a normal kid. I was brought to tears because this young lady because typically he takes a long time to try and get his words out of what he wants & I just end up ordering for him for the sake of not holding up the line... but this time this young lady did not allow me to do that. As soon as I started to order for him she said “he’s got it, just give him a minute... the line can wait... he’s trying” & she looked at him with the biggest smile and she helped him order his food by telling him literally everything that was on the menu and she told him how to pronounce and say what he wanted to eat. My child has never been able to make two complete sentences but she helped him do that. I’ve never seen my child’s face light up that way. She changed my life and his life that day. I never thought I’d walk out of a fast food restaurant as happy as I did. & Not to mention, she also asked him what his name was so that when the food was ready she came and got him, took him to the counter, helped him carry the food back to the table and she told me she wishes me the very best and she wanted me to know that I was such a great mother & that Jacob can do whatever he puts his mind to in life and to always give him the chance to be great. I could tell she wanted to cry as much as I was. She probably was no older than 20 but I hope that she see’s this one day and knows that she changed my life. I’ve recently moved so I am not as close the Dallas area anymore but I just wanted to publicly thank that young lady. You are something special sweet heart! She’s always working so hard in there and is just so pleasant. It’s a breathe of fresh air to see that there are still people with genuine and kind souls. She should be the...
Read moreThis happened on December the 9th 2021 an approximately 4:00 pm It's this one Hispanic cashier lady who is an older worker she's been working at Popeyes Chicken for some years she always rushing people and saying what's next what's next what's next she always getting people order wrong and she act like she don't understand English or what you're saying I had to come back up to Popeyes Chicken because she didn't get my order right this is not the first time this has happened but this is all the time I don't know why the manager still have her working for him he needs to monitor her when he's there I have been in Duncanville for several years and I have noticed that she keep doing this and it's not being addressed they also have new workers that are doing the excellent job getting the food out but the older cashiers are horrible customer service is everything I have witnessed her talk to African-American people very rudely but when it comes to Hispanics she is very calm and talks to them very nicely this is why a lot of people don't come to this one anymore I would rather drive to Grand prairie to get hot food and great customer service and another thing you need to teach your workers to stop cooking those biscuits like a hard rock I don't understand how y'all are running out of spicy chicken and y'all are a chicken place but this is the reason why I don't like...
Read moreWe stopped by this Popeyes tonight and ordered a eight piece family meal dark meat initially we gave the guy $40 and he said the total was 37 something after we handed him 40 bucks two $10 bills and 5 five dollar bills Then he said we did not hand him enough money so we gave him $10 more and he proceeded to give us the wrong change and was still confused about the money. Well that wasn’t bad enough we got home and instead of giving us eight piece dark family meal they just threw 11 chicken tenders in the box and stacked everything on top of it so I guess we wouldn’t bother to check the chicken although we went inside there is no drive-through so we were standing there but they made sure to make the chicken where we couldn’t see well we didn’t get home and they threw eight chicken tenders in the box and charged us for dark chicken meal I would not recommend leaving this place without doublechecking your chicken. They seem to be very preoccupied and didn’t care once we entered. I think they purposely put the chicken tenders in and hope that we would not check it out. They asked what we need any ranch or anything knowing that they have put things in the box that we did not order hoping we would just go...
