Well this time I went through the drive thru ordered a bacon egg and cheese bagel meal with a chocolate chip frappè. I ordered it with the bacon well-done, and the bagel well-done / extra toasted. As I went to pull away I made sure to check my order, it was the incorrect order. It turned out to be a sausage egg and cheese McMuffin. I take the incorrect order in with my receipt (which was ordered correctly) and then explained what I wanted again. I got my bacon egg and cheese bagel but, with nothing on it made well done and now at this point my hash brown is soggy and cold. And the whole time the team working were too busy playing the blame game instead of working together to fix the problem.
The last time I went in I walked in to get a coffee since it was a quick simple order, which happened to be a large black coffee. Mind you there are 4 pots of freshly brewed coffee waiting there. The manager skipped over my order 2 times to get other people's orders why was it so difficult to pour coffee into a cup and put a lid on it and send me on my way. I had to ask her 2 times for my coffee and with an attitude she asked one of her crew members to get me my coffee.
I am very dissatisfied with both these visits. I am not one to complain especially since I have worked in the food industry for over 12 Years and I have been coming to this McDonald's location for the past 2 Years and service has been great but, the service has been absolutely dreadful for the past few months.
You have now lost a loyal customer and I plan to spread the word. You folks need to improve your service before you lose anymore...
Read moreWe held my son's birthday party here today. I called weeks prior to get clearance from management. I was told I only needed to pay to reserve tables if I wanted to assure there would be some there. If I wanted to risk not having a table, that was on me. I told her I would call back to let her know if I wanted to. We decided we didn't want to pay to reserve since we only had about eight kids coming. Fast forward to today, about an hour after we arrived I was approached by management and was basically told I was in the wrong and was taking seats from other customers, "reserving" my own tables (we had just set a cake down on an empty table) and that I should have paid the fee if I wanted to reserve them and that we needed to be out within the next half hour. Mind you they were not busy, the whole front end of the restaurant was empty, and at any given time only one other family with children were using the pay area. Also, we order hundreds of dollars worth of food and literally ate the entire time we were there. We hurried the cake along and left. We go to this location regularly and will spend 1-1.5 hours in the play place, as do other families so I just really didn't see the difference. Every person that attended ordered food and was a paying customer yet we were treated like we were loitering. Food was fine but the manager left a bad taste. We'll go to the Randall location...
Read moreThis location sets a new low for non-human, automated service. Toys for kids age +3 for happy meals? Out of stock. They advertise a S'mores McFlurry, my spouse wants one, and they are out of stock (see photo). McLies! So I self-service order on the screen then a message appears, "there's a problem, go to the counter." You go to the counter and stand there looking at the false S'mores McFlurry advertising and no one comes to help you for a minute. Then you have to confirm your whole order, again. Vacuous automatons treat you like a number. Our order, a Big Mac, a McDouble, and two happy meals, took 10 minutes. We were dining with three kids under 7 and were given no napkins. The hand sanitizer was empty. The sanitizing wipes dispenser was empty. The trash was overflowing, gross (see photo). They have an unwelcoming sign posted that reads, "no loitering, please. Time limit: 30 minutes while consuming food." One plus is a play place for the kiddos. While we were eating there, the door alarm kept emitting a high-pitched, obnoxious screech every five minutes. To be solution-oriented, I went to the counter to inform the robotic staff, and they stare at you as if to suggest, what do you want us to do about it? The staff heard the screech for themselves from the counter. Good news, Carpentersville McDonalds, this mismanaged location has McRoom for...
