Arrachera Mexican grill — Restaurant in Dundee Township

I would like to start by saying , this location has had different owners. The food was not great then but not this time around. It's very difficult to find a place here in Carpentersville for Mexican food that's decent. I usually find myself going to El Fuego on Randall Road as they are top notch with flavor and pricing. Now , lets speak on Arrachera Mexican Grill. I ordered one steak burrito , 3 tacos with cebolla and cilantro and a bottled water, chips and salsa, which came to be $40 - $41. The food was good and I told them it was good. The price on the other hand ... Not with it. Now , I can go to El Fuego on Randall Rd in Algonquin and pay $28 . El Fuego's food is great , I highly recommend it . I gave this place a chance , the food was good but I rather go to El Fuego and pay less for the same quantity of food. This is hands down the best Mexican restaurant you’ll find within 45 minutes! I always judge a place by its salsa, and the three they brought out with chips were all delicious ,salsa truly sets the tone, and they nailed it.

I had the fajitas cielo, mar y tierra, and they were incredible…packed with flavor and served with tortillas, guacamole, salad, rice, and beans. Very filling and worth every bite! My husband ordered the arrachera burrito and absolutely loved it.

Tried out this location again last weekend after the previous one closed down. And so glad I did! The reviews were not kidding about how amazing and delicious the food is! The Arrachera Burrito was the best burrito I have had in many years! The meat was so crispy and flavorful while also having the perfect ingredients inside with a toasted tortilla to wrap all together. So glad to finally find such an incredible Mexican restaurant, and it being so close to my house is a huge bonus. So I truly wish this location luck and hope its around for many years. Will definitely be my go to place now for when im craving a burrito/Mexican...
