Title: "An Unforgettable Bagel Experience in the Heart of Dunedin!"
★★★★★ (5/5)
As a self-professed bagel connoisseur, I am always on the hunt for a perfect blend of chewy inside and crispy outside, and I found just that at the Dunedin Bagels Company in Dunedin, Florida.
From the moment I stepped into their charming locale, I was welcomed by the delicious aroma of freshly baked bagels that only the finest bakeries can truly capture. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, answering my indecisive order questions with patience and a smile. This level of customer service is a rare find in today's fast-paced world and makes every visit to Dunedin Bagels Company a pleasant and personal experience.
The bagel menu is broad and creative, offering a myriad of both traditional and inventive flavors that would suit any palate. The sesame bagel is a standout - crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, with a flavor so hearty and rich you could eat it without any spreads. However, that would mean missing out on their house-made cream cheeses, which are a revelation. The roasted garlic and chive cream cheese is a personal favorite, offering a savory twist to the classic spread that perfectly complements any bagel choice.
The ambiance of the café is equally delightful. The combination of warm, rustic decor with the subtle hum of local chatter creates a welcoming atmosphere that invites you to sit, relax, and savor each bite of your bagel. The location, right in the heart of Dunedin, is conveniently accessible and adds to the overall charm and appeal of the place.
Dunedin Bagels Company also showcases a commitment to quality with their use of fresh, local ingredients, a factor that truly makes a difference in the taste and texture of their bagels. In an age of processed and mass-produced foods, it's refreshing to find a local business that prioritizes quality and community.
Every visit to Dunedin Bagels Company feels like a treat, and it has quickly become a must-visit for me whenever I'm in the area. It's not just a bagel shop, it's an experience that embodies the spirit of Dunedin - warm, welcoming, and wonderfully delicious.
If you are a bagel lover, do yourself a favor and don't miss out on this hidden gem. Dunedin Bagels Company gets a well-deserved five...
Read moreI should have read reviews before I decided to meet a friend for coffee/ bagels. The lady that works there (hope she is not the owner) should not be in the customer service business and was extemely rude. I asked for a cup of coffee at the counter ( stood there for a few minuted patiently waiting while she was telling the customer in front of me about how she loves Vermont with no greeting or eye contact) and then had to kindly interupt to order my coffee. She reluctantly gave it to me and had to tell her I was meeting a friend after acting I was going to leave or something without paying. My friend showed up and ordered two Lox and cream cheese with coffee which was around $34 before tip which thought was pricy but figured it will probably be very good which was not- microwaved, soggy and below average especially for $11.99. Secondly, I fill my coffee up half way especially when served in a large styrofoam cup so the coffee doesn't get cold because I like alot of cream. When I went to fill my other half of cup up the cream curled in my coffee and asked for another cup and was told that there are no refills and there was a sign stating so- nothing about the spoiled cream which happens. I should have seen the sign yes but told her I filled it halfway anyways and she rudely gave me another cup. I handed her my coffee and said she doesn't take trash- the trash can is over there and pointed to it. Lastly, she sat with customers and was talking really loud and my friend and I could not hear each other and had to try to talk over her which was annoying to put it mildly. I never write a bad review and always give someone a second chance but this I feel had to be written so new customers can maybe patronize a restaurant that appreciates your business and treated with...
Read morePOTENTIALLY a new customer, yesterday, over the phone, I innocently asked the older female/cashier/owner if they had Kaiser rolls. She snapped back, "We have bagels." I replied courteously, placed my order and went to pick it up. When I arrived, I saw that they advertised Cuban sandwiches. I was confused, because the woman had said they only have bagels. When I got inside, I mentioned the Cuban sandwiches and asked if they make them on bagels, which was a fair question, given what she had already told me. She said, "No. Cuban bread." I told her that I wish I had known they had Cuban bread, bc I would have ordered my breakfast sandwich on it. She rudely told me that would never happen, bc they wouldn't serve it on Cuban bread. I asked why not and she said they just wouldn't do it. Thinking about how I felt at that moment, being a CUSTOMER and being told she would deny me a piece of Cuban bread for seemingly no reason made me feel like I had made a big mistake ordering from this place. I spoke up and told her that perhaps her customer base might widen if they served customers what they wanted. She quickly replied that "WE DON'T WANT ANY MORE CUSTOMERS. WE ARE HAPPY WITH THE AMOUNT OF CUSTOMERS WE NOW HAVE"!!!! Then she picked up a piece of paper from the counter and showed it to me, which read, I swear, as God as my witness, "If you don't like the way we do things, BUY US OUT!" This rude and unbusinesslike woman is happy to make new customers feel unwelcome and doesn't care if you provide them with your patronage, or not. So, I made up my mind to never go there again. I would rather go where my business is appreciated. LOL...I AM STILL STUNNED BY HER REMARKS AND CANNOT FATHOM SPEAKING TO A CUSTOMER THE WAY SHE...
