Thistle Boutique and Gallery — Attraction in Dunedin

I had to write up my experience at the Thistle Boutique and Gallery in Dunedin, FL. I have visited this store numerous times as have my friends. The owner, Paula is helpful, friendly and knows a lot about fashion. She even demonstrates how to wear her beautiful shaws and specialized wraps that sell out continually. Shopping is like going to a museum where you get to buy the articles that you fall in love with.

She also supports local artists selling their artwork, soaps, jewelry and amazing cards. Personally I love her Lemon Grass soap that not only do I use it in the bath, but I placed a bar near my night stand so I can smell it as I fall asleep. Strange, I know... but that is how natural and delicious it is.

It is really a shame I have to give one star as I never entered the shop. I was barricaded at the door by an older woman saying “Nope, uh-uh, you can’t come in.” Not even a hi or a kinder greeting. I had a service dog with me wearing his vest, on leash, and paperwork on hand. The owner was impeccably unkind and rude stating she had two of her dogs inside, therefore I couldn’t enter. News flash lady, you cannot deny entry of a service dog. I kindly stated that her attitude was not good for her business and left. Also Dunedin is known to be a dog town so maybe you should change your ways or attend an etiquette class to practice your mannerisms and...

So glad that after they did they're complete remodel (looks great, btw)they went back to the GOOD Ranch dressing!

Food is Bbq with a lot of choices. My fave is their pulled pork or brisket with fries and broccoli & garlic toast. Their sweet tea is amazing.
