Read moreHello friends Abe here. Today my wife and I decided to try out Firehouse Subs at Dunedin, FL location. I gave it two stars, why? Let’s start of with the location. The establishment is located at an extremely high traffic intersection just at the corner of main and Keene. Busy getting to it and busy getting out. However, plenty of parking. The establishment, is mirrored to a subways only you can’t see the condiments. Which sucks because you can’t see if things are fresh. Within the establishment it looked a bit unclean and lots of obstruction. It appeared they were doing inventory. We ordered a chocolate cookie and a rainbow flavored cookie. Both cookies were stale. We also ordered a Philly cheese steak sub. No American cheese, why? Only cheddar, Swiss, or provolone really? We also ordered a meatball sub. Both subs were high in sodium and tasted awful. While trying the Philly cheesesteak it felt we were eating a sloppy joe sandwich. The meatballs were huge on a small sub which Firehouse Subs calls medium, trust me it is not! Price was a bit high for two subs only, no meal with a large soda and two cookies rounding it off to $28.00 two dollars more we could of had a full blown meal for two at Applebees, just saying! Usually I do videos but this time...
Read moreMy last review was 5 years ago and allot has changed. The online order doesn't include every option that you find ordering inside. In my case the steak and cheese online doesn't have a large or wheat bread selection. Inside the restaurant for 2 visits now its been dirty on floors. Last time they were out of sweet tea this time napkins. I went in the men's room to get paper towels and found the soap dispenser doesn't work. The televisions were offline so just a screen saver. It was for the most part the same crew both visits. I know the chain was sold by the Florida owners to a Canadian company and it was after that I saw changes for the worse. I'm knocking it to 3 stars only because the subs are still good or I'd go 2 stars Old review: The subs are consistent from visit to visit. They were very busy with people still without power from the hurricane yet still was just as good, properly made to order and people had the chance to charge there cell phones at...
