After years of repeat dinner and catering orders, it pains me to throw in the towel and find a better business. About two weeks ago I placed an order for two large cheese pies, the girl who took my order repeated the order back to me and I confirmed it was correct. I get to the store only to find out they only made one and if I wanted another I would have to wait another 20 mins. We're a family of 5 so my order is always the same. I left with just one pizza and let my kids and spouse eat. Ok, things happen... Ok December 23rd I ordered a half tray of chicken for to be picked up on Christmas Eve for Christmas dinner. I looked at their website online, made my selection, WROTE DOWN THEIR NUMBER FROM THEIR WEBSITE, and called in my half tray of chicken which was to be $51.75, again info from their website. I called on Christmas Eve to let them know I was running a couple minutes behind to pick up my order and just to confirm asked for a total... The woman who answered the phone tells me it's $80+ for the half tray, when I tell her not according to the website, she claims "That's not out website, we're not affiliated with them." So please explain how they have a legit phone number, address, and pictures of Frank's Pizza in Dunedin and yet that's not their website??? When I explain all of this to the woman, she goes ma'am I can even buy chicken for my family at that price. Seriously??? That's their best response! So I told her to cancel my order, bought a 1 package of chicken at Walmart and feed 7 people the same chicken dish I initially ordered from them, WITH LEFTOVERS!!! Just got giggles, I had someone call to ask if they had a catering menu and that person was told to go online (to the same website I went to) to view menu and prices... Again to a website they aren't affiliated with... SHANE ON YOU...

Potentially a HEALTH HAZARD ZONE!
As a long standing customer of Frank's (ordering once a week, every week) I'm sadly DISAPPOINTED in his lack of responsible stewardship both for the safety of staff and customers during the Covid-19 Pandemic.
STAFF: Both at the counter (2-3 young ladies) and kitchen (5 or more staff) DO NOT WEAR MASKS! I see staff talking to each other and to customers within a foot (or less) from each other; they are unaware or don't care that Covid-19 is spread in the air not only by sneezing, coughing, and touching but VOCALLY as well!
CUSTOMERS: Often bunched up at the counter, customers waiting for their to-go food are NOT wearing masks! They are not instructed to either wait outside or, if inside, no social distancing is encouraged or enforced.
Frank, you need to take responsibility for your staff and your customers. Other restaurants are employing the CDC guidelines -- in Pinellas County -- but NOT you. Why not, Frank?
ORIGINAL 5 STAR REVIEW in 2019:
Pizza: Scores an 8/10. I'M FUSSY. It's always crispy, not mushy and sloppy like some pizzerias. Nice crust. Ample ingredients. Lunch Specials: $5.00 for chicken wrap and soda is a steal. HEALTHY. PLENTIFUL. Waitress: Extremely attentive! Always a smile. A Plus: Cops eat here so you know the food has to be good and cheap. Clean: Tables, floors, restroom. Timing: Food always arrives fast and hot. Note: This isn't gourmet Italian, but for casual dinning (usually lunch) it's good enough for me. Take-out: Counter staff are always...
Read moreWe traveled about 1000 miles to spend Halloween with our granddaughter. Had a great weekend. She was bummed not just having to go back to school but also because we were leaving. So what do good grandparents do, you take the child out for their favorite food - pizza! We pulled into Frank's right around 7:00 on a Sunday night, our first time there, brightly lit, parking lot, was relatively empty and we thought great, it's not going to be crowded. It wasn't; we walked in to find one person sitting at the bar, one person in a booth, a bartender behind the bar and eventually identified three people in the kitchen. One delivery driver packing up an order and heading out the door. After not being acknowledged for a few minutes, I went up to the bar and grabbed a couple of menus and was still not acknowledged - completely ignored. So I thought maybe they use an online ordering process and I'll find a QR code in the menu. Sat down looked at the menu - No QR codes to be found except for one on the table that took us to their website, which I had already found which is why we were there. About 1700 reviews on Google and a 4.3 rating with lots of positive reviews. We thought we were in the right spot. 10 minutes later after having been ignored the entire time, we walked out the door. This establishment is about a mile and a half from where our granddaughter lives with her father. We hoped it might be a great local place that we would visit again and again. Unfortunately it is unlikely we will ever return much less patronize the establishment in...
