Femme Akoi is all around perfection! They were there for me and my army of girls on my special day. My trial was done on the day of my boudoir shoot (as my wedding present for my hubby). It was perfect. She made me look exactly how I had hoped for... but better. Christine is not only amazing at what she does, (both hair and make up), but is overall such a delight to talk to and be around. So it makes the whole experience fun, exciting and light. She just makes you feel like a princess :) Then on the big day Christine arrived with her troop of girls, Alex, and Sofia. They all got to work right away and kept the mood happy and exciting. There were 8 bridesmaids, and 5 junior bridesmaids and flower girls, PLUS ME! They showed up on time, (possibly even 5 minutes early), and got everyone done in well before the time needed, which was great because there was no stress or crazy rushing. I was so impressed with how beautiful all my girls looked as well as my little sweet girls (one of them being my daughter). I felt like she captured the natural look I was going for which was important to me. When I was walking up to meet my sweet man who was all smiles, (and teary eyed) I could tell he saw me, and not just a face caked full of make-up. Everything went off without a hitch and these group of woman were true professionals in addition to being so much fun to have around on that day. After the ceremony, Christine found me and had her handy make up emergency kit to touch me up without me even having to ask her. She stayed on top of it all night and was truly above and beyond what I expected. I have included many pictures to show their fine work. I used Femme Akoi for my wedding hair and makeup and had an extremely negative experience. Through the whole process I attempted to confirm that someone would be staying after to touch up. It took four people to be able to confirm this. Then the night before the wedding (when I was at my rehearsal dinner and clearly not checking my email) they asked me to pay extra to have the artists stay. I noticed the first email by chance and paid immediately but then received a second email late at night stating that they did not include the full time and asking for more money. Again, no issue except it was at about 10pm the night before the wedding. The day before my wedding I chose to do a second trial because I was not happy with the result of the first. I had to wait almost an hour after my appointment time to be seen. When all of the artists showed up I can only say they BUTCHERED half of the bridesmaids hair and/or makeup. After repeated instructions to correct everything finally looked good. When the time came for an artist to stay I was shocked to find out that the artist I had been working with and who did my hair and makeup every time would not be the one staying. Teresea was the one who stayed and I can only describe her as rude and unpleasant. She put everyone in a bad mood who had to go get touch ups and actively upset some party members. Further, she did not stay for the full amount of time she was scheduled for and left almost an hour early without notifying me. I have never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day and I can’t thank the team and artists at Femme Akoi enough! Our artists were Andrea, Aimee & Megan and they couldn’t have been better for me and my bridal party!

I had Andrea for my Bridal Makeup & Aimee for my Bridal Hair and both turned out AMAZING! Andrea not only killed it with my makeup but she was also so fun to work with and really brought the best positive energy with her! She listened to my thoughts and executed everything I had asked for perfectly. My skin looked amazing, I felt glowy and I would recommend her to anyone 1000 times over! Aimee was equally as amazing! I ended up switching up the style a little different than what I had at my trial and she was so open to listening to what I was wanting. My hair was so full and had the most volume, it looked awesome. Megan was another stylist there to help Andrea and Aimee out with Bridal party hair and makeup and she did such a great job! Everyone looked beautiful and loved their looks!

The team and coordinators communicating with myself and my planner, specifically Allie and Katlyn, were so responsive and had every question I had answered ASAP, which I really appreciated. They were so organized and helpful and made the process as smooth as possible.
