It’s incredible how rude and disrespectful I was just treated in the drive thru by the short blonde manager that was there. I’ve been coming to this location for years with no problem and this morning a simple reorder of lunch instead of breakfast turned into me being spoken down to and belittled.
She tried replacing my entire order by saying they could give me fries instead of hash browns. Which I said yes to. And then tried to literally only give me fries. I said no. Because I ordered an entire meal. And she said that was my option or I could come inside and get a refund. I went through the drive-through because I didn’t have a lot of time before class so I had to leave.
Directly on the mobile app under your order, there is a get help button, which states that if you would like to request a refund, you could either contact the store or go to the store in person. On my drive to school, I called the store in which the same manager answered and continued to interrupt me every single time I attempted to explain myself. She told me she gave me the option of getting french fries and I drove away, so I missed my opportunity for a refund.
I told her the policy states that I could either contact over the phone or in person and she said that’s not how things work here. I will only give a refund in person and you denied that offer and drove away. “ We are a franchise store, not a corporate store so the app and the policies on the app have nothing to do with this location, I offered for you to come inside or take a small fry and you drove away”
An incredibly rude and disrespectful experience. I’ve never had to be a Karen before and call a customer complaint. But I will not tolerate being spoken to that way. I don’t even send an overcooked steak back to be as easy as possible. But this was ridiculous and the way she spoke to me was unacceptable.
This was on 7/17/25 and the manager was a chronically unhappy, miserable and projecting short blonde meanie around 40 years...
Read moreI stop at this McDonald’s because it’s the closest to me and is convenient, but every. single. time. something goes wrong. Either an item is missing, or I get the wrong food entirely. Just today, I placed a breakfast order through the McDonald’s app for my family, which included a strawberry banana smoothie. My sister went to pick it up, and sure enough, the smoothie was missing. Worst part is that I expected it. I know I shouldn’t have to feel like I need to double-check every single visit just to make sure we actually receive what we paid for. And now I can’t even get a refund for it through the app, there is NOTHING that allows me to do so. I have no way to drive over there at this current moment, so I just wasted money and am additionally frustrated at not having the drink I was craving. If something is missing and I’m asked to pull into a parking spot, it defeats the point of using the drive-thru in the first place. One of the worst experiences was when we ordered oatmeal for the kids and it was very bad—sour, rancid smelling, and awful tasting. Having to go back to ask for an exchange was time-consuming, and I just don’t understand why food in that condition was being given out in the first place. There is one drive-thru employee with an amazing attitude, he's friendly, cheerful, and always a joy to everyone. He’s probably the exception. Most of the other employees seem either careless or just indifferent. I don’t blame the teens who are new to the job, but the adult staff often act like customers are an inconvenience. There is also a sweet lady with white hair at the front who’s been helpful every time I’ve seen her. Nonetheless, this location seriously needs improvement. I wish better for myself and for everyone else who spends...
Read moreWent through the drive thru for a cheeseburger kids meal. Was parked for at least 8 mins waiting for just that. There was a mix up with the happy meal and it was given to someone else. Had to wait a few more mins for a “new one”. Got home trying to log back into work and set my son up with his meal only for him to open his burger with a BITE out of it. I call the store to speak with a manager only to be met with a woman who claims to be a manager by the name of DOT. As I am speaking to her telling her the situation she starts over talking me telling me that “no one took a bite out of your cheeseburger ma’am”. DOT tells me she will not replace the meal only the burger. Why on earth would I want my child to eat a meal that someone else has touched and bitten off of. She gives me a bogus number to call to speak to the head manager. Idk what kind of people your store hires for so called managers, but you should invest in some customer service training for them. The disrespect I was met with immediately literally calling me a liar in other words. There was absolutely no apology, nothing to try and better the situation. No customer service skills what so ever. DOT and DIANE, I hope that one day you get the opportunity for a do-over on this situation and you handle it a little better. Especially at a time like this when a hurricane just ripped through our town and most of us here have lost everything. I hope that you are a little more understanding and have a more human empathy response for a...
