Starbucks — Restaurant in Dunn

I have never written a negative review, but this time I just have to. I went to my Starbucks (Dunn, NC) today. There was a car ahead of me, I waited 20 minutes in drive through. Finally got to the window, and asked if this was my order. It was not. I told the guy in DT, that the order was an extra hot black & white mocha, and a Blond latte, with an inch of half and half on top (not heated) and cinnamon powder on top. He charges us, the hands me a drink. A black and white with sweet cream and cinnamon. No other drink. We reorder the latte it comes out with sweet cream. Then my husband informs him that the other drink is wrong. It is supposed to be Extra Hot Black and white mocha, They remake it and hands my husband a cold black and white in a hot cup. They filled the cup with cold milk!!! So, is extra hot was cold. We were going to be late our evet so we gave up. They refunded our money, gave us 4 dollar of coupons, so now we are going to be late and have no coffee. We were there for 45 min in the drive thru. This is the second time this...

I visited around 7:45 am on a Monday morning. I ordered a tall hot caramel macchiato and a banana nut loaf (overpriced but good). I wanted a spinach wrap, but I didn't want the egg on it. However, I couldn't order that because their breakfast is pre-packaged. Had me looking over at Bojangles and seriously considering going to go wait in that long line. 🙃 I was told to pull to the window for my total. Almost $8. Paid and was handed a tall cup with a sleeve, then was told that it wasn't my order. I handed it back. I was then given a shorter clear cup that had ice in it. I informed the lady my drink should be hot and she told me to keep it and they made another one for me. It didn't take long at all. I tasted the iced macchiato and it tasted watered-down, no flavor at all. Barely a coffee flavor or caramel flavor. I got home and tasted the hot one and it tasted watered-down as well. I’m leaving this review because something needs to be said about the service at this Starbucks. I’m not sure if it’s a staff shortage or what it is, but you can not go here and wait less than 20 minutes for your coffee at any given time. Multiple times through the day they turn off the ability to place orders online or through DoorDash, so you have to go to the store. Multiple times a month when you get to the store there will be a sign that says the store is closed but the drive through is open, and you will be stuck in the line for at least thirty minutes. Usually when this happens by the time you get to the window to get your drink everyone inside is so ill from the line that you don’t want to mention it they didn’t get something correct on your order.
