I had the pleasure of dining at Sagebrush Steakhouse recently, and I must say, it was an experience that warmed my heart and left my taste buds dancing with joy!
From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, but what truly made our evening special was our server, Beverly. She was nothing short of amazing! Beverly greeted us with a smile that could light up the entire room, and her warmth was infectious. Her service was not just about taking orders; she made us feel like we were guests in her own home.
The food was, as expected, delicious. The steaks were cooked to perfection, with that char on the outside and the tender, juicy inside you dream about. The sides complemented the meal beautifully, but it was Beverly’s recommendations that guided us to some of the best choices on the menu. Her knowledge of the dishes was impressive, and her enthusiasm for the food made every course even more delightful.
What stood out was Beverly's attentiveness without being overbearing. She had this magical ability to appear just when you needed her, whether it was for a refill, to clear a dish, or to share a laugh. Her cheerful disposition turned our dinner into a celebration.

Read moreHeading to Raleigh and decided to stop by. Had seen the sign many times before. Was about 2:30pm. Restaurant was fairly empty. Maybe 4 or 5 tables being tended to. Things started off great. Server was attentive, got a basket of awesome rolls right away. Ordered the appetizer trio which came out fairly quickly. I then ordered the 20oz ribeye, medium well with rice pilaf and ceasar salad my son ordered the 12 oz ribeye medium with double fries and my wife ordered a steak as well with mashed potatoes and a salad. Took over 30 minutes to receive our salads (they also brought my son a salad which he did not order) which were followed within one minute by our entrees. My son who ordered fries ended up with mashed potatoes and a salad. My steak which I ordered medium well which means "a little pink" was so overcooked and charred that I did not even want to try it. My son's steak which he ordered medium had only a very slight pink to it and also dry looking. After having already been in the establishment for close to 45 minutes, we had to wait another 10 for the waitress to even come by and check on us again. At that point I told her to just take it off the bill and give us our check. We did not even take a bite of the steaks btw. I can understand a chain restaurant overcooking a steak and slow service when there are 100 people in the dining room. Not when the restaurant is almost empty and has staff just hanging out at reception. 1 try was enough for me to never go back to this place. Damn shame that this is the standard for this...
Read moreI have lived in NC my whole life, have the pleasure of travelling a bunch for work and travel around the world, get to eat at some amazing places all over but when I say WORST DINING EXPERIENCE EVER, I MEAN ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!!!!! I put in an online order and after changing plans at the hotel tried to call them and switch it to dine in and somehow that caused a cataclysmic shituation for they're computer/ and guy who handles to-go orders and somehow gave him the permission to cancel my order without telling me and without my permission, while I was waiting for my order that I never was going to get because they never told me they canceled my order, I got the "delight" of meeting the older woman who works behind the bar who wasn't only rude, she was just straight up disrespectful, I requested to put in a order after finding out that they canceled my order without me knowing, but that took another 20 min and she went out of her way to NOT take my order, I wasn't rude, I tried to be polite and understanding that it was somewhat busy but she was just point blank a horrible individual! Unfortunately I'm working here for another month and probably will be forced to look at this dumpster fire "they" call a "steak house" from my hotel window but the experience was so bad I might just switch hotels so I never have to see that place again!
Needless to say this places has 4 stars because this is in Dunn, NC where you can't be picky about...
