First-time visit, and I’m already a fan! Cafe Sababa offers a cozy café-style ambiance with cool, laid-back vibes — perfect for enjoying a flavorful Mediterranean meal.
Upon walking in, you place your order at the register. If the team is in the back (as they were when I arrived), there’s a little bell to ring for assistance — a nice touch that keeps things flowing.
After browsing the menu, I went with the chicken platter, which came with creamy hummus, a fresh salad, and warm, soft pita bread. I also added a side of chickpea curry soup, and let me tell you — the portion was generous, served hot, and packed with flavor.
Everything tasted fresh, filling, and well-seasoned. The prices were more than fair, and to top it off, bottled water was just $0.50. That’s rare these days!
This family-style Mediterranean spot is a solid yes for me. I felt welcomed, comfortable, and left full and satisfied. Definitely adding Cafe Sababa to...
Read moreLive in Dunwoody and always ordered from the chinese restaurant in the same shopping center and saw this place but never went in. Was looking for a place to eat and saw that this place was highly reviewed at alot of places like Google/Yelp/TripAdvisor. Being skeptical I didn't really trust the reviews but decided to see for myself.
The first thing I noticed when I stepped in was how nicely decorated and clean the place was, was alot better than I thought it was going to be from the unassuming sign on the outside. Ordered the babaganoush for an appetizer and liked it. The GF got the lamb platter and loved it, I tried a piece of her lamb- it was solid, good flavor and perfectly cooked. I got something which was basically a chicken gyro wrap and it was very good. Their rice is solid too. Can't wait to go back or...

We persisted and came here a second time on a Wednesday, and they were open but no lamb dishes. So bummed I couldn’t try the renowned lamb sandwich. We got the gyro and chicken shawarma platters. The server dude was really cool and helped us out, nice guy really. But the food was just not what we expected. Gyro was just not what I expected. No onions, fresh salad with grated feta but no dressing. You can tell the meat is home made but just didn’t taste like gyro to me. I could taste the granulated dry garlic in the tzatziki. Just overall Ok but not what I would have expected from the name. I wish them the best, they seem to have a good following. Just wasn’t a...
